Be sure and get a quote for the job and not pay by the hourly rate as the work was dragged out longer than needed A helper was brought in to replace three ceiling fans and one (1) light fixture. He was only successful at replacing two fans (one of which was already in place) and one light fixture for $315 and spent 7 hours($45 per hour X 7 hours) I deducted $65 for the new fan he couldn't get to work. He was very slow and just taking his time. GFI outlets were added at $112 per GFI, somewhat high for this type of work for an experienced electrician.
