Seamless Metal Gutters - Install
Skip did a great job wrapping the wood trim around my house and replacing my gutters. I have a few items to finish up on the outside of my house and will definitely be using Schmidt's Home Improvement again!

We had our back porch screened in (with damaged wood replaced), our garage dry-walled, garage door replaced, and French doors in basement replaced. Skip and Jamie were meticulous, safe, and were quick to point out other issues that might need attention. Their craftsmanship was especially noteworthy. Their clean-up was excellent and appreciated. As a side note, they both were attentive to our dog and made her comfortable with their presence to the point where she slept while they worked and walked through the house. Great job and highly recommend.
Response from Schmidt's Home Improvement
"Thank you George! You guys were a pleasure to work for and we hope to get the opportunity to work together again! And we loved Misty, she's such a good dog!"

Electrical Switches, Outlets & Fixtures - Install or Repair
He is prompt and does his work very well, we are pleased with all he has done for us. He stays until the job is finished. He's a great person to work with and is very courteous. He made suggestions to help further our project along. He was willing to add additional tasks after we had a better idea of the scope of our project. He has abroad base of experience and is very good at what he does. We will call him back for future projects.

Faucets, Fixtures and Pipes - Repair or Replace
He fixed a toilet leak we had. Seemed like a lot of money just to replace the screws (and the silicone seals around them) that hold the tank onto the toilet. He did a good job, but ended up replacing the whole flushing mechanism as well, which worked fine beforehand.
Response from Schmidt's Home Improvement
"Thank you for your review. My price was alot less then a full time plumber that would've been 2 to 3 times more in an emergency service situation . And about the tank components, I made a suggestion that you get the tank components replaced while I have the tank off the toilet because you need to take the tank off to do this job anyway and your wife was ok with that."

Electrical Switches, Outlets & Fixtures - Install or Repair
I have hired Schmidt's Home Improvement several times for projects that are mostly electrical but also for general carpentry. My husband wanted an electrical line installed for his outside fountain and we also had an additional outlet installed on our deck. I've also called Skip when I needed inside doors replaced in our basement as well as a window replacement. Most recently I hired him to improve the poor lighting in our garage. I know I can count on Skip for a job well-done that meets my expectations and at a reasonable rate. I trust his work. He's also very patient as I share my "wish list" with him. I also appreciate that he keeps us updated on when he'll be here to do the work and cleans up the worksite when finished.
Response from Schmidt's Home Improvement
"Thanks guys. You two always a pleasure to work for. I hope those lights are giving off plenty of light in your garage."

Seamless Metal Gutters - Install
We are very pleased with the work that Skip had done for us, he replaced the rain spout around the front porch. As well as covered the posts, so that we wont have to paint them any more. At our age, no maintenance is the way to go. We are having a problem in our bathroom and didnt hesitate to give Skip a call. Very professional, quality workmanship and at a decent price.
Response from Schmidt's Home Improvement
"Thank you Wanda, it was a pleasure to work for you!"

Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
I've used Schmidt's Home Improvement many times over the last few years. He has done all types of jobs both big and small such as; new windows, installed outlets, drywall, plumbing, new fuses on my fuse box, and even troubleshoots over the phone when I'm trying to fix something myself (and should have called him in the first place). Most all he is very trustworthy, I never think twice about leaving him alone in my house while he works. I recommended him to my parents and now he is the first person they call.
Response from Schmidt's Home Improvement
"Thanks Troy, it's always great to work for you and your wife."
