**Warning** Avoid Service First Heating and Cooling. ?My family, including our one year old, was left without AC during a 100°F heatwave due to the incompetence of Mark and Zach Merrion. They initially diagnosed a faulty blower motor ($100 fee), then returned to install it?only to realize the unit still didn't work and the true issue was the motherboard. Despite the misdiagnosis, they demanded an additional $450. When I questioned the charge for the unsuccessful work, the technician became hostile and abandoned us in the heat. ?In another situation of us questioning then the owner, Mark, made a veiled threat about carrying a gun in his work truck. Furthermore, they promised to refund my $100 cash diagnostic fee but left without doing so. ?This company is unprofessional, unreliable, and unsafe. Save your family the stress and find a reputable HVAC provider, stay far away from Service First.

Service First did a GREAT job! With the weather really heating up Mark bent over backwards to get my A/C unit replaced as quickly as he could. I will absolutely hire them again for any of my heating and cooling needs.

My water boiler stopped making hot water so I search servicmagic.com for help. 3 were recommended and I called Service First Heating and Cooling, Inc. A very big tall guy came to take a look. Unfortunately my basement is finished and there is little space between the water boiler and drywall. The guy is too big to move around inside the boiler. He told my wife that thermocouple is dead but it requires a pair small hands to replace. He could not do the job. He did not charge me for anything. I went to Lowe's and bought a universal thermocouple and replaced it myself and it worked. Many thanks for Service First Heating and Cooling.

On time, professional, efficient and through, completed required paperwork necessary for closing. Always returned my calls promptly, especially on closing date when buyer requested a credit of $250.00 for cleaning and pilot flame burning yellow. Service First Heating & Cooling owner contacted buyers' lawyer and agent on closing date to explain why I do not need to give $250.00 credit to buyer. Thank you. A rare occurance especially since I was in Virginia when the inspections needed to be completed.

Mark took the the time to understand my situation and worked within the confines of my budget. He was honest and truthfull. I definetly recommend his services.

My central air conditioning stopped working the day before we're suppose to have 90 degree weather. Service First Heating and Cooling arrived only a few hours after I had called and took care of the problem. The service person was friendly, offered great suggestions and got the job done quickly. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone looking for professionalism, expertise and quality work.

Service First did a wondeful job for us. They arrived on time, started working on time and finished in a very reaonable time (less than 7 hours and that included calling some manufacturers to make sure that other equipment was available. This three-man crew worked hard and got things done to our satisfaction. We are very happy with the job that was done!!! The prie quoted was very fair and did not increase. The crew even had to contend wiht our granchildren asking quetions and sometimes, unfortunately, getting in the way. They did a great job.

The repairman was friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions and was helpful in my decision making regarding the choices I needed to make in getting my cooling system up and running. Hopefully everything will be fine with my unit I will no longer require their services, but if I do I will definitely give them a call.

Mark was great. SFHC was the first to call back (within 12 hours), lowest bid, and installed the next day. The whole project was complete in less that 36 hours (from the time I filled out the form online). Great job and definitely recommend them. Thanks, Eric
