About us
Shane, owner of Shawkes Electric, LLC, was originally drawn to being an electrician while living in San Diego. He was always searching for a way to work less and surf more. After the birth of his first son, he decided to move to a more affordable area. When Shane first moved to Maricopa, AZ., his wife started teaching while he stayed at home with his son. When it was time to go back to work, he found a job working for a large company. After a few years working for them, he saw how high the demand was for quality, custom residential work. "With the help of my wifes grandfather, I was able to borrow the capital needed for my licensing and get my dream self-employment off the ground."
