The estimate was provided quickly, the price was very reasonable and the job was finished within a few days of us awarding the job. Extremely pleased with the work and the customer service. We would definitely hire them again, and would recommend them to others!

Don't hire these guys to do anything that may be out of the norm.. I had a roof, gutters and soffet/fascia wood work done. They came out, threw a roof and gutters on in two days, and left out the s/f out, despite the fact that it was explicitly spelled out in the contract. Over subsequent calls, the foreman made the s/f work right, but the wood repair was sloppy, and the gutters leak because they had to be tore off again. They weren't the cheapest quote, because I wanted a good job. Maybe I was the exception..

Tim was a very kind man who explained everything that was wrong in terms I could understand. He completed the repair the day he came out after giving me a reasonable price, and so far, so good. There is not water coming into the bedroom anymore. I just hope this holds up so that, in a few years, we can hire this company to do a completely new roof. I highly recommend South Hills Builders to anyone who needs any kinds of roofing.

Tim was at the house right on time (maybe a little early) --What a change from usually having to wait around for HOURS with other service jobs! Also, very friendly and courteous, I would call him again for anything in the future!

Project Manager, Tim Smith, responded within 24 hours to my request, came out to do an estimate and discuss my options. My problem was actually an emergency situation and we agreed to an immediate resolution to 2 leaking skylights and black mold. Tim came back the next day and installed 2 skylights.He was very professional and competent. He explained the installation process and answered every question I had during the installation. He was certified in the Velux skylight system and efficient. He made sure every aspect was done correctly and cleanly. Would hire this company again.

I had to facilitate a roof repair from out of state, on a house we were selling. I went with South Hills builders because they called just minutes after I spoke with a Home Advisor agent. I spoke with Allan from SHB and he was very kind, knowledgeable and ready to help. He was honest and up front about what we would need, and how quickly (very quickly) the work could be done. I had to call him several times and every time he answered the phone he was courteous and helpful. I couldn't have been more pleased.

While I have committed to have them do the work, they have not yet done the work, Therefore,it is to soon and I cannot evaluate them at this time. I am waiting to hear from them what day in April they have scheduled the project.

They had the professional knowledge to understand what needed to be done to repair our existing gutters. Another contractor said they fixed them last year, but didn't understand how to do it correctly so they began leaking after the winter season.

There office personell were quick to respond and followed through as they said they would. The crew showed up on time and did a professional job. I would definately recommend these guys...I have ceramic tile roof and they did a great job replacing broken tiles and NOT breaking more than they fixed. I had a roof maintenance job that very few other contractors would come out for because it wasnt a big job and only took a two man crew about 6 hours...not only were they reasonable on the price, but prompt and seems like quality work. Ill let you know if the roof leaks later.

The service professional provided an estimate and completed the project in a timely manner. I wasn't at home when he came for the estimate or for the project, but that wasn't an issue! Most of the correspondence was handled through email, which also is convenient. A very satisfying way to do business!

They arrived when they said they would, made the proper repair for the price quoted, and gave me some good advice. The workers were polite, pleasant and knowledgeable.

They were great. On time very professional. I was impressed the owner of the company came out to do the final inspection then came into our home to talk to us about the job they did. The roof is great the materials they used were top notch. Never will I call anyone else for my roof issues again.

We needed a rubber roof installed on our semi flat roof. We had an estimate (reasonable) and roof installed within a week. Stephanie ( who handles billing and questions) was a great resource. She is available to answer questions- which I find is sometimes the hardest part...communication. The workers were professional and did a great job. A rep was on my roof the morning after I submitted a request on servicemagic, and provided a detailed estimate that afternoon. The company owner personally answered my questions. Crew was efficient and cleaned up the mess to our exacting expectations. They don't mess around!

They did a very good job. There were a few problems with the workmanship, but when they were addressed, they were corrected. This company was good to deal with. They returned calls promptly, and sent a rep out to review my concerns, then corrected them promptly. I would reccommend them to a friend, and actually already have.
