The crew was very efficient...replaced and put in 10 windows in one day and did the finish work on the second day. Also left property clean.

The installers were courteous and worked quickly and efficiently. They were respectful of us and our home. We are very pleased with the finished job.

The entire 12 man crew from Straightline Siding & Construction did a fantastic job with residing the entire exterior of my 5-plex multi-family building in downtown Portland with Hardiplank ColorPlus siding in Dec 2010 . The entire job involved approximately 5,500 SQ of hardiplank siding & trim. They did the entire job in 4 days, including removal of the old siding, weather wrap, dry rot repair around some windows, install of Hardiplank ColorPlus, caulking... first rate job by a crew who specializes in siding work. They provided a very competitive bid price , though my main objective was to get high quality work done... They were EXCELLENT!

Excellent customer service. Arrived on time for estimate. Told me I didn't need to side the entire house, that the lower siding was fine. Saved me some big dollars. The siding was replaced in a day! They had no problems with changes I asked for with the painting. Even came back and did a separate paint job for me at a very reasonable rate! These guys are the best!!!!!!!

I hired Straightline to replace some 15 y/o T1-11 siding with Hardi-plank, replace 20 low grade viking windows, and paint my house. Straightline recommended Alside Excaliber II windows, which we liked the best after looking at umpteen brands. I am very happy with the results and would hire them again. All work was performed on time, workers were courteous and polite; any problems I pointed out were resolved with zero trouble. All that for an an extremely good price. My only caution is to ask for more than 1 day advance notice before work starts.

i'm very satisfied with the workmanship of finished product. jonathan's suggestion for the use of shakes over the gables turnd out very nice. they built a nice well constructed overhang for me too, matched the shingles to what was already on the roof my neightbors are envious

Overall he did a good job, however he used scare tactics when giving the estimate he stated the plywood underneath the siding needed to be replaced right away which was not the case. If I hadn't been there at the time I may have ended up paying more for unnecessary work.

Everything was done professionally and all their employees were very friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend them to others wanting a contractor for their vinyl siding project. Johnathan Tutt, the project coordinator, is the best...he kept appts. on time, was available to contact on his cell and would call right back and he followed through on all work promised. Fencing was done to expectations, lights were all installed and Ramiro and his painter assistant did a fantastic job on the exterior of the house. They take great pride in their work and it shows. they did a great /fast job. but they did forget to install obscure glass where we wanted it, and they did not do the trim work like they said they were. i contacted them and they did not return my phone calls,still waiting to here from them,

Wonderful! They prepared the plans, had the county approve them, and finished in a timely fashion. Other than the deposit of 10%, payment was not rendered until the entire project was completed to our satisfaction.

Straightline did a very professional job for us. In fact we originally hired them to paint our home then hired them back to do our stamped concrete patio and driveway. I would recommed them to a friend.

I really appreciated the patience and willingness of Straight Line to stay with this project - what was supposed to be a day long project of replacing damaged siding and a small deck turned into a bigger nightmare of severe structural damage to the studs and some floor boards. The structural work was beyond Straightline's services, but they worked with me and the structural contractor to tear off the damage siding and remove the deck, then return after the structural repairs to replace the siding and deck. I am pleased with the outcome - I have a new deck now.
