I hired Timberline Fence and Deck to build a cover over my existing patio. Their price seemed very fair so I gave them half down so they could get started. They finally came over a month later to start the project (they said the building permit took a long time). After a few minutes Aaron told us that Malina had made an error in her design plans and they had to be redone. He redid the plans and showed them to us along with a price increase of over $800. He also said that if we did not want to spend the extra money we could receive a full refund. My wife and I decided to ask for a refund. It has been about a month and a half and we have only heard from Malina once on July 1. We have not heard a word from Aaron and they will not answer their phone (Malina says she is in Alaska helping her mother with her business and doesn't have much cell service there). Aaron will not call us or talk to us at all. We have not received any of our refund. I definitely would not recommend this business to anyone.

While I have rated Timberline the day they finished my fence repair; I HAVE SINCE DISCOVERED THAT THE INSTALLATION OF THE SCREWS THAT HOLD MY GALVANIZED BRACKETS WERE MISSING, SOME WERE HALF SCREWED IN AND LEFT THAT WAY, OTHERS HAD CONSTRUCTION SCREWS PUT IN THAT WERE NOT FLAT TO THE METAL AS THEY WERE BEVELED AND WOULD RUST. I CALLED TIMBERLINE 4 TIMES AND LEFT MESSAGES. I TRIED TO BUY THE SCREWS FROM LOWES AND HOME DEPOT...BUT THEY WERE AN ODD SIZE AND SO I HAD TO SPECIAL ORDER THEM; NOT EVER GETTING A CALL BACK FROM AARON OR MALINA AFTER 2 WEEKS. ONCE I PAID THEM AND WROTE MY FIRST IMPRESSION AND RATED THEM WITH ALL FIVES ;THE LITTLE BIT OF FOLLOW UP WAS DISAPPOINTING...AS THERE WAS NONE ..SO CHECK THEIR WORK VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE PAYING AND RATING THEM AS THIS REALLY SURPRISED ME. I HAD REALLY LIKED THEM AND HAD TRUSTED THEM. SEEMS TO BE ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE REGARDING WORK QUALITY. RIC K.

Aaron and his wife were very professional and pros at their job. They surpassed my expectations . It was a pleasure to meet them and have them work on my home. The materials they used for the job were of much higher quality than their competitors. I highly recommend them for all your fencing needs. Wish I could rate them higher! Ric K.
