I needed a report for a deadline. Dare was agreed upon. Failure to communicate with me. The report was of no help.

Mr. Tompkins came out and was very friendly and explained all that needed done. He said he would email the drawings to me within 3-5 days. I did not receive anything and had to contact him. We sent drawings that were incomplete. I contacted him again and he sent more drawings, but they were still incomnplete. I contacted him a 3rd time and received no response. I contacted him a 4th time and my email was returned as undeliverable.

Kent Tompkins was very professional, responded very quickly, and provided a prompt comprehensive report. Our house is under contract, and a very picky inspector had frightened our buyers, and Kent very possibly saved the sale. Great job.

Kent arrived and inspected the job. I asked him for both a plan view and detailed drawings of the structural roof changes necessary for the project. Kent took measurements and subsequently sent me a small pdf plan view but no structural drawings of the roof joist modifications which were required. I paid him $300 and got something I could have produced myself. I have contacted Tompkins and Associates several times and have no worthwhile response.

He responded promptly, showed up on time and provided me with peace of mind, knowing the property I was considering buying has no major structural problems. I have recommended him to a friend who is a home inspector.

He helped us out when we were in a real jam. He was reasonable and very helpful.

They didn't show up when they said they would. I called & was told they'd lost my paperwork & they showed up 2 hours later. Was told we'd get report in 3-5 days. I called to check on status, no one returned my call. 2nd follow up call I got ahold of them they said they'd sent report via email, but I never got it. Finally got it after 27 days & too much hassle. Said they'd provide names of 3 repair companies. Engineer sent me a job quote from 1 company which makes it look like engineer is a contractor who is subcontracting & I never got the other 2 companies info I requested. Called to try to get info again, no one returned my call.
