Tom is an inexperienced contractor, although he has 2 really good workers that aim to please, unfortunately Tom gives inaccurate estimates. We hesitated on this review because we were hoping he would come back and finish a few things, like paint that dripped on the new floor, and Nails sticking out of a hand rail, and some touch up in paint, and a large concrete slab left behind that i can not move, and a barrel full of cut woold and debris. his workers were dedicated to finishing and wanting to please, but Tom was not as responsible.

Very unhappy. Add the cost of rework and a locksmith to his quotes. Tom contacted me quickly, he was personable and seemed professional. Day 2; his crew smoked in the house and dumped cigarette butts and drywall dust out the window and in my air conditioning unit. To his credit, he did fire one employee that was smoking. The next week Tom came back to finish the job. He took an extra two days and left with the job poorly completed. He lacked several of tools and had to borrow mine. He left three bags of construction debris and still has my house key. I have been requesting the key for two weeks to no avail. Don't use Tom.

Tom called right away, provided quick pricing and scheduled the job. He arrived on schedule and called me quickly about a problem with the project that needed to be addressed which was resolved to my satisfaction. He completed the job in a quality manner. I would be happy to use Tom again.

I found Tom, of Toms odd jobs to be completely unprofessional. He came a couple hours late to my house because one of his painters was 'hungover'. When they finally arrived they had to leave for Home Depot as they didn't have any paint trays. They did not use tape and got paint all over my white woodwork, hardwood floors, and white ceilings. They clearly were not professional painters. Toms humor and jokes were offensive and I would never recommend them to anyone. I could have done a better job myself and I've never painted before.

Tom is a hard working, diligent sort, and a heck of a guy t'boot. He is very personable, and took a genuine personal interest in making sure that he was acting on our wishes. He wasted no time, and when the scope of the project grew, as such projects inevitably do, rather than making it a multi-day affair, he enlisted the aid of other members of his crew. What started out as a job to replace a through-the-wall air conditioner, quickly came to include a complete door replacement in the garage and the replacement of some rotted trim on the other side of the house, all done in the same day. Overall, I'll give him 10 out of 10.
