Tri-City was on-time, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, thorough and worked quickly as well as offered to install older parts and waive the charge for labor.

Although the installation went smoothly, I have 4 issues with Tri-City. 1. I had no heat and it took more than 1 week before my job was scheduled. 2. I received 3 heaters to help heat my home until my furnace was installed. They were not sufficient and not used. My furnace was installed on Dec 20th. As of Jan 3rd they have not been picked up. 3. Before installation I confirmed that the unit I wanted qualified for a $500 rebate and tax credit. I am still waiting on the paperwork to submit for the rebate. 4. A sales rep has not contacted me to follow-up on my experience w/the company, even after I called and made that request.

Yearly cleaning "deal" is a scam. Refused to clean at quoted price, and said that it would cost 5-6x more, then demanded payment of original fee without having done any work. Clearly just trying to make some extra money off of a young homeowner.

I decided to not go ahead with my project but I was impressed with the amount of time it took for the company to call me back and the follow they took to get in touch with me. It shows this company cares about its customers.

They did the job in one day which was nice. The poor guys were at my house from 730am to 9pm to get the job done. They cleaned up after themselves except for some insulation they took out of the rafters in the basement to run piping and left on the floor and never put them back. I have to call them because I am missing an end-cap to the baseboard heat in one of the rooms and when they were running pipes they must have compromised the phone wiring going to my kitchen phone because ever since the installation it has been dead. Otherwise the installation went well and everyone so far along the way has been courteous, helpful and prompt.

I was having a problem with my propane heat operating at an optimum level. Ross from Tri-City arrived within the time window given and he was very professional. The problem was fixed and I even ended up scheduling a maintenance service for the following week. I would recommend Tri-City Heating and Cooling, LLC to others.

Because of location I was not able to hire a long time family friend and expert to do my work. When Tri-City consultant came to the house he was extremely knowlegable and thorough. The price for the work was through a computer system instead of an off the head number. The package Tri City offered me was "unbeatable" according to my family friend. When the gas company finally installed the gas line, Tricity was there the next day to install a top of the line furnace. When the gas did not blow through at 830PM when furnace was installed, they contunued to work and drained the pipes until 10PM to ensure my house was safe through the night.

Joe was a great technician. He cleaned the furnace (as I had requested) and went out of his way to make sure everything was running well, recommending another needed service. He did this without being pushy or "selling" the service, just telling me what was going on and asked if I'd like it taken care of. Very up front about the cost.

The man they sent was very efficient and explained every thing that he was doing. The only thing is that we thought he would also be vacuuming out the furnace and checking the draft but, found out that was another price which was not explained to us. So next year we will have to have that done and will have Tri-City do it.
