We provide following remodeling and new construction services: How We Handle Your Project Windy City Construction & Design strives to make every project a thorough, detail-oriented process. Every construction process shares the same project management principals. Windy City involves several different people in your housing project and ensures on several quality assurance levels that the project is designed and executed properly. Design Phase I During our design phase, you will meet with our Consultants and Construction Designers. Depending on your specific need from exterior work, additions & remodeling, window replacements, damage assessment, or energy consulting, we have specialists that will design with you and your budget in mind the best solution. Contract Phase Once you finalized with your architect and our consultants or designers the scope of your project, our Estimators will create a comprehensive cost analysis and submit a contract for your approval. With the signing of a contract, our consultant will introduce you to your personal Project Manager. Your project manager will be your direct contact throughout the entire construction on site, over the phone, and via email. Permit Phase During the beginning of your construction your personal project manager and consultant will help you to acquire all necessary construction permits, licenses, and approvals necessary to complete your specific project on time. Construction Phase As the construction begins, you will enter a selection phase and a building phase. Selection Phase The selection phase might be necessary to make all final and detailed product decisions. While the design phase might have include the type of product and service, the selection phase could include picking the exact colors, materials, or other objects within your contract allowances.
