Zimmerman Paperhanging & Painting

I wish I knew I could write this review earlier, Russ performed a miracle. My husband had painted our master bedroom which is quite a large room and after about a month it all began to crack and peel. Eventually it was coming off in sheets, 7 years later and many contractors who looked at it were baffled. I met Russ and his lovely wife at my job and saw that he was in the business of dry wall and painting, so I asked him if he would at least come and look at it. When he saw what I was dealing with he knew exactly what happened and told me the easiest way to remedy this is to re-rock the entire room because if we tried to scrape and re-paint it was going to happen again as the dry wall was not going to hold the paint . He was the only one who figured out what was wrong and accepted the challenge. He gave me a very reasonable quote and from start to finish it took 11 days straight through to finish the job. They were always on time, very neat and courteous. This included painting along with an accent wall. I wish I had a picture to submit, I have never been happier with a job as I am with this room. It has been a few years since this was done and it still looks new. I recommend Russ HIGHLY!! He came back several times after to check on the paint and drywall nails etc. the clean up was meticulous and they were very protective of my carpet and trustworthy of my belongings. Great Job!!! Mr Zimmermann is the BEST - hands down! He removed our wallpaper in multiple rooms ,then prepped the walls & painted them. He is a true professional- his work is meticulous and beautiful! He's an incredibly diligent worker & will always make sure the work is perfect! A rare find these days! He also installed crown moulding in several rooms & again his work is perfect! Russ is very easy to work with & I was very comfortable having him in my home as it was an extended period of time. I will recommend him to everyone! He is always on-time and work completed as-promised! Will use him exclusively!

Russ meets commitments on time, provides complete estimates, works in a collaborative manner and provides a high quality product. I would defintely hire this company again.

Zimmerman's paperhanging workmanship was impeccable. His price was very reasonable. He called me back the next day and then finished the job by the end of the week as promised. I could not have asked for anything more. I am an architect and usually am a little pickier than most. I wish all contractors were like Zimmerman.

He did an excellent spacking job on my ceiling. He was the only painter who knew what he was talking about and proved he was a pro.

Russ did a outstanding job, the mural looks great, he explained everything he was going to do before he went to work, cleaned up the entire work area when he was done, and was very easy to work with. We were so pleased with the job, we told him to use us as a reference.

What a stellar paperhanging company! I was very apprehensive about having to use someone I didn't have any experience with or knowledge of. I was contacted quickly by the owner, Russ Ziommerman and an appointment for an estimate quickly followed. After meeting with Mr. Zimmerman I was completely confident that he was the right man for the job- trust you first instinct! They were on time, pleasant and professional each day on the job. I am admittedly a perfectionist- their attention to detail was amazing- particularly in the pre-hanging prep of the walls and the finished product is beautiful! What seams?? Higher them without hesitation!

Russ wallpapered and painted my entire home. My house is over 80years old and preping the surfaces was very labor intensive. He was there every day, cleaned up at the end of the day and his work is beautiful. It was a pleasure working with Russ and I will use Russ again for sure....Thank you servicemagic for sending Russ our way...

Zimmerman's was very professional and courteous throughout the entire process. The installer was quick to respond to the request I put in and was very flexible with regard to actually giving the estimate. Once the date was set to give the estimate, the representative showed up on the date and time that was promised. Upon arrival, the representative explained the entire process and was very quick with regard to providing the cost and material needs. Upon selecting Zimmerman's to to perform the work, they again were very accomodating and completed the work within a two week window. Their work was excellent!

I am very pleased with the work performed, and I would certainly use the company again, as well as recommend it to my friends and family. My home was left clean, and they made a speial effort to minimize any disruptions. I found Mr. Zimmerman and his very capable assistant to be very professional and courteous and understanding of my schedule (and my two dogs!). Great Job!

My wallpapering of the master bedroom was completed just before Christmas. Great job and had many compliments from family visiting for the holidays. They were good guys to deal with and would definitely use them again.
