"Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend Genie. In fact I would warn anyone considering Genie to be very careful about the cost of the contract."

They diagnosed the issue, found the source of the leak around the upstairs window, repaired the window trim, redid the drywall inside, and finished it all in a day. Very impressed with their skills, workmanship, and timing. We called and they showed up and had the work done within 2 days. Would definitely hire again."

"I called Ray Ray's plumbing for a rough-in on my new addition and if you stop reading now please don't make the same mistake I made, just find someone else. Out of the four fixtures they roughed in, three had a slope in the wrong direction, two of them leaked water from being further than 5 degrees off set, and all of them are more than 12" from the design. The owner, Leslie Ray Fewell is a joke of a man with not a single gram of dignity in his body. He will not take responsibility for any actions done under his name, his company or anyone employed by him. Once you pay him he will deny service, tell you he did not receive payment and revoke anything he can. His employees are uneducated, unprofessional and should have anything they have ever touched looked at by a third party and investigated by the Texas State board of plumbing examiners. He will take you for a run and after four+ months, you will only be looking for a new plumber to fix everything they have touched."

"UPDATE: Amazing how this wonderful review has turned to wishing I never left it or could give them 0 stars. The initial sale was amazing (should’ve known it wouldn’t last). We spent 30k on a brand new unit. 1.5 year later and we find ourselves on day 8 without an AC, now being told it may be another week “and if we don’t hear back from them by Friday, for US to call them again”. Do not be tricked by their initial caring demeanor. It obviously doesn’t seem to last. I have health issues, we have 2 senior dogs and are in Texas. It’s been pushing 90 degrees in our home and they can’t provide a solution to a ‘Cadillac of units’ that THEY recommended and we fell for. I am at a loss. Jon Wayne is the company that installed the unit, now they’re saying the unit ‘is grounded’ and ‘is like a heart that stopped beating’. Crazy that it’s supposed to be a top of the line unit that they compare to a Cadillac for the AC world, yet it stopped functioning after a year. Do yourself a favor and get other options and opinions before trusting them on something as important as cool air in your home. I can’t believe we are dealing with this.
