"Mark Mathis, the owner, and his crew run by Bob are "hands down" the best painters on the northside of Indpls. I've had a lot of painting done over the last 20 yrs, and I've never encountered a painting team w/more integrity, comprehensive eye for detail, and a "can do" attitude.
Their price is fair, Mark understood the nature and time frame for our project, and even though he's in the busiest time of the year for him, he was able to fit his crew in to our timeframe.
I will never utilize another painter again, I highly recommend others giving Custom Colors Painting Co., their projects !!

"F I S H Painting & Drywall did a great job on getting my 2 upstairs bathrooms’ back up to snuff. I had been wanting to get the drywall fixed around our 2 bathtubs and standup shower as it had start chipping and coming off around the tops of the enclosures. On a scale of 1 to 10, my bathrooms were a 4, they were in desperate need of help. I end up talking to 4 vendors about the job and settled on Dennie/ F I S H Painting & Drywall. The main selling point, he had 40 yrs of doing this type of work. I needed someone to take the extra step and had the knowledge to do it right, since it was getting pretty bad. You can hire cheap, but that is what you get most times. I needed experience in this case. I ended up needing a ton of nail pops fixed in 4 bedrooms and the 2 bathrooms. They redid bad tape joints in our small bathroom and in our ceilings. They were also able to retexture the ceilings to match the existing too, which I was definitely wanting. And then I had just the 2 bathrooms painted top to bottom for now. I am concentrating more on just the bathrooms first. They were fast to get to my job when I told them I was ready. I thought it was going to be a couple of weeks and they had a couple of people that needed to rearrange schedules, so I got bumped up. They suggested a satin paint for bathrooms and the proper ceiling paint for a bathroom too. I did have some additional nail pops that needed to be addressed after everything was done, due to the walls being white before. Sometimes it is hard to catch them all on a white wall. Dennie came out and fixed them. He even found extra ones that I did not see too. I appreciate him taking the time to come out and do a double take on everything. Now I can sleep better at night. I feel that I have gotten off to a good start getting the house started."

He also set the expectation of how much time it would take before the work started. They started the work earlier than expected, which was great! "CDH is a Fantastic company! I was greeted with respect and courtesy in my conversation. Clint, the owner of CDH, called me personally. I shared with him the details of my project. He has a lot of experience in the resurfacing business, and he pointed out a couple of things that I hadn't thought about. I wanted to resurface my tub due to a chip in the porcelain and the increasing difficulty I was having with the cleaning the tub. Clint let me know this was common with cast iron tubs as old as mine (28 years old in fact), and that this would get worse over time. He recommended an inexpensive option to fix the chip, and let me know how his process worked. My wife didn't want something that stunk up the condo. Clint assured me that they vent to an outside window and use a scent that smells great. The drying time is just 4 hours and uses environmentally safe materials that really don't add much to the cost, but protect the homeowner and Clint's crew. There was NO pressure to book a job, just a genuine desire to help and make sure all my questions were answered. Clint was also happy to share his pricing with me and explained that he offers the best price he can while maintaining a profit margin that allows him to stay in business and treat his customers and employees well. I did the temporary patch for $5 Clint recommended, and I'm going to have him come back in the spring or summer to re-glaze the tub. I'm a business owner, and I respect his desire for excellence in product and service. I also greatly appreciated his openness and honesty. I will be hiring him for this Spring or Summer. If you have need of a re-glazing project I can't think of a better choice than Clint and CDH. I'll update my review after I have my project finished."
