"It was EXCITING!! This company was recommend by JB Lawns and Matt and his helpers were very quick, very thorough and very eager to make everything look just right. The first day was spent weed whacking the overgrown (and overwhelming) backyard, clearing all that mess out and digging and leveling both yards. My husband was sending me pictures and videos all day while I was at work. We were shocked at how fast the backyard was cleared out, as we knew this would probably be the hardest part of the job. Matt called to keep us updated even though his workers were updating us. Matt showed up several times to check on the progress but didn't need to, it all went so flawless!! The second day was spent getting and spreading the compost layer and sod. The compost truck arrived and they were so careful on our property around our tree and even down to not harming my one last tomato plant. Compost was spread and the sod was delivered and put in. Again, Matt was there helping his crew making it that much faster. Every last detail was thought of and when they left, my driveway, porch and sidewalk look clean and new. It was such a great experience!! Matt and his crew are friendly and informative. When the job was done we went through all the required maintenance and general info about the type of sod we had. Our yard is the most beautiful it's ever been and we are looking forward to having First Impressions return for at least yearly maintenance if not more often. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND FIRST IMPRESSIONS TO ANYONE!!! I can't emphasize enough how easy and fun this all was!!! <br />"

"The company was hired to do complete care of the yard and landscaping, including weeding, pruning, and maintaining the lawn. All they did was the mowing, edging, and blowing of the yard. The lawn was not well maintained in terms of its health. Pruning was done once every 6 months or so, but we were charged for it every month. We were also charged for weeding and placement of bark dust, but it was never apparent that these items had been done. If you just want someone to mow, blow, and edge, these are your guys. If you are looking for attention to detail, look elsewhere!"

"The job went very smoothly for us. We were impressed immediately with the knowledge of Efron, our estimator and contact throughout the job. He suggested alternatives and ways to make the area in the back yard more useable without needing to buy more materials, just using what we already had. We never felt like he was trying to sell us anything we didn't want or ask for, and he was sure to let us know which things needed to be taken care of sooner vs. later. We only waited a week or so after signing the contract and making a downpayment for the work to begin. All the work was completed within a week. At completion and at various times during the job, Efron walked one of us around to make sure we knew what they were doing. In the end the retaining walls and walkway turned out great, and the stairway down the side is more beautiful than we ever imagined it would be when we started the process. We plan to use them again because we were so happy with the work that was done."

"My lawn looked absolutely awful the second that it got close to summer. All the winter grass died and my lawn looked embarrassing. Called customer support number and no one ever came. Called again and someone came without any heads up (so I wasn't there) and dumped more chemicals on the lawn. Finally got in touch with the local manager who came and put down grass seed and a special formula to deep hydrate the lawn with the application of 40 min of water every day for 2 weeks. Really worried to get my water bill next month!!! Lawn starting to look better. Still brown spots. Seed coming in. Crossing my fingers. Only working with local manager from now on. Feel like I could get more from a landscaper who not only applies the right fertilizes and manages weeds, but would also mow and edge. Also frustrated as feels so impersonal. <br />"
