"The good experience with Raindrop started with the estimate; Lee was knowedgeable and up front with me about the need to fix my chimney before they could do the roof work; neither of the other roofing contractors had mentioned that. When I accepted their bid, but the work couldn't start for over a month, they held the original price even though the cost of materials had just gone up. When they came to do the work, they were courteous and always willing to answer any questions I had about the process. And Ryan, the owner, is a real sweetheart; he came by at the end to check and make sure I was satisfied, which I definitely was. I've already recommended them privately to 2 friends who are ready to redo their own roofs."

"Workers were very polite and efficient. They cleaned up after themselves and were tidy the 3 1/2 days on site. Rich Dunne was very responsive when issues arose and made accommodations when requested. We decided at the last minute to replace our roof windows. Didn't even get a quote before-hand - we were that comfortable we were not going to be gouged. And we weren't. I carefully reviewed work as it was performed and found it to be truly quality work. By the way - we had many estimates but Rich was the one we chose because there was no guesswork. No speculation. Worst case scenario price was provided. Given the horrible condition our roof was in, that was comforting. I highly recommend this company. <br />"

"During a heavy rain in the middle of November we noticed that there was water leaking out of lights in our downstairs(it is a two-story house) and I suspected that at least one of the vents on our roof was leaking and the water was traveling down through the walls. I climbed up on the roof and found that four out of six vents had large holes in their rubber collars, allowing water to run down into the house. This must have happened during a windstorm we had a couple of weeks before. I duct-taped the vents as best as I could. <br /> I called Pfeifer Roofing because they had replaced a roof on my rental house last year and I felt that they did an excellent job. Dylan came out and looked at it, then gave me an estimate over the phone. It seemed high, but it was an emergency with more bad weather coming. When I received the proposal/contract, the price had gone up another $50. Dylan told me that it would probably take a week to get a crew out, maybe a little longer because they were so busy. <br /> Two weeks went by with no word from Pfeifer, so I called and was told that I hadn't even been put into the schedule yet and it might be another two weeks! I explained that I didn't think my duct-tape job was going to hold much longer. Another week went by and nothing was happening, so I emailed Dylan and (to his credit) he was able to get me on the schedule for the next Monday. They came out in the morning and finished quickly. <br /> I am giving Pfeifer an overall of fair because of the lack of communication and price (and I've also found some debris in my yard from their work since then), but they are friendly people to work with and I would probably work with them again. I just hope they are better at scheduling next time! <br />"

"(This was not a repair;it was a replacement of a 25 rear-old roof that was leaking and the seller said it wasn't.) Javier promptly came out and did the inspection, answered our questions, gave us the (lowest) quote, and supervised the work, which was done promptly and professionally. A generous veteran&#39;s discount was applied. I was in awe of the crew leader, a 27-year veteran roofer who did a superb job of chimney flashing. The materials were top quality. Daily cleanup. Cleaned gutters, downspouts and sofits . I had 5 bids. I liked Javier from the outset. I felt I could trust him, and he exceeded my expectations."

"This is the second time we've hired Gentry Construction for projects. They're very busy and couldn't promise to finish until the end of summer, but they found a week in mid-July and finished in four days. Patio cover with a metal roof; re-roofing 60% of our house; front door rail. All top-quality work. Would definitely work with them again."

"I had three construction companies that came out to give me an estimate of my roof replacement. I choose JLV construction because they were not pushy and Oliver really explained things throughly. He worked with me on picking singles and put up with me changing my mind many times. Oliver was very at giving me choices and giving his advice. Oliver came out after job was done and made sure all nail and worksight was clean. Which it was. Never knew anyone was her except for my beautiful roof. I highly recommend JVL construction. Fair price, great people and a great needed job for a fair price. I will surely use them again. Thank you to Oliver."

"Outstanding. I discovered the leak late in the afternoon, and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Filipe showed up in the morning, and said he would do the necessary work right away, as rain was expected again the next day. He replaced missing shingles, and caulked/shingled around two skylights. In addition, he re-set roofing nails and siliconed them in place."

"Quick to initially make content and once hired were quite prompt in arriving at the job site. Personable and went right to work. I appreciated that as I do not live in Oregon; my sister occupies the house. It was nice to get something scheduled and completed in a short time. The 2 workers did a nice job of cleaning up afterwards. I would make one suggestion for the crew. It would be helpful for me at least to get an overview of what the project will look like once it gets done. It was a moss removal from my story and a half home. The majority of the work was accomplished using a moss killing spray which is going to take 2-3 months to eradicate moss from the roof. I expected more to have been scraped prior to the addition of the moss spray. A minor miscommunication for which I have at least half of the issue on me. That being said the moss is continuing its decline so the actual end result will be accomplished. Thanks guys."

"We generally go for the middle bid, but in this case we went with the low bid. This company matched all the current considerations for our roofing job as all the other companies. We had heard from friends that had many family members utilize this company and all had been happy with this company. This bid was competing with well know roofing companies in the area. Since this roofing bid came during fall, as we had many leaks from previous poor roofing job, this company also came to cover our roof until better weather."
