"Mr. Menendez's crew arrived on time and prepared for work. I had two old wooden exterior columns that had been dry rotting. The crew replaced the columns with a custom PVC wrap. The columns were securely installed to ensure no future water or termite damage. Next, the crew primed my exterior mouldings, my rusted railings, and the awning above the porch, all of which were over 20 years old, rusted, and a huge eyesore. The following day, the crew returned to complete painting, reinstallation of the railings, and the final touch which was painting my security door and my front door! They provided new screws for the railing and painted my front door blue--- both of which were complentry to the work I paid for."

They isolated the kitchen with plastic lining to make sure their sanding and paint fumes were contained, put paint clothes everywhere and were very respectful of my home. "These guys are fantastic! I can not say enough to give them enough praise. I have used them twice now. Once to paint my upstairs (every wall) and then again to paint the formal rooms downstairs (formal living, dining and foyer) and 2 stairways. They are very professional, the owner stopped by several times to check in on the progress and the lead painter made sure we knew what was going on every step of the way and pointed out any issues that may slow them down, presented us options, and had us decide what action was best. We just bought our house and it had many problems with the walls - mostly bad sheet rock tape and a multitude of dents. Our painters fixed it all! We were limited on time, so instead of leaving work undone or requiring another of of work, they brought in a 4th painter and stayed late to make sure everything was done to satisfaction.  At one point, they had started painting one room, and I decided the color I picked out did not work. No problem, no grumbling or complaints, they just moved to another area until I could get a gallon of the new color.  Every time I peeked in on them, not once did I catch anyone resting or slacking off. These are very hard working fellows and very good at what they do.  Professionalism and quality of work at its best.

"The overall job went well. The (reasonable) estimate was performed weeks in advance of work. The work required 2 days. Scheduling was agreed on, & Manny confirmed a few days before the job. Manny power washed himself, but had a co-assistant on the paint project. Communications, punctuality, and work progress was very good. The finished job met my expectations. I only wish extra paint could’ve been left for touchups; but Manny did provide me with purchase info having brand/color of sealant used. A 3 yr warranty was also provided with receipt so that’s awesome. I’ve even obtained another estimate for possible painting of my siding."

"This is the second time I used Shalom Home Solutions for a painting job, after they did a good job on my rental. This job involves a four bedroom single family house with a finished basement, totaling 5166 sqft. The painting includes all interior surface and baseboards, with minor drywall repair and caulking. Amilcar and his crew did a very good job. They arrived early everyday around 7 a.m. and leave around 4 p.m. The cherry hardwood floors were covered with drop cloth and the railings were covered with plastic sheets. Some elaborate window treatment had to be taken down and put back. The house was cleaned up after the job was done. There was no damage in the process. It was completed on time. Amilcar was very communicative throughout the process, responding to my text message and email quickly. The only minor negative is when he brought in a few newer painters one day and their work was a bit rushed (not taping up the cherry shoe molding). Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the work."
