"It went well. They consulted me to assure I was happy with the trimming. The clean-up was acceptable. The city of San Jose picks up all the green waste, but is a little fussy about the debris piles. I had to restack some of the piles to meet waste company's requirements."

"The service they did was mediocre at best and they are not very careful. Had them cut trees down by my house and they decided to fell 1 of them right along the side of my house instead away from it and hit my roof and broke a window when I live in the forest and there was plenty of clear area to direct it towards. They also crushed my garden and fencing in this act. It has been 2+ months and they STILL have not fixed what they have broken and getting them to respond is next to impossible. So if they can't do any damage to ANYTHING on your property I would say maybe give them a chance but avoid them completely if there is a risk of anything being hit, no matter what the value because they won't fix what they break and will leave you for 2 months in the snow without a freaking window and your chimney crushed!!!!"

"My next door neighbor and I needed a major tree topping and trimming to the property line. We took 4 bids on this project. Johnson’s Tree Care won us over with Kevin Johnson’s professionalism and client care. He kept in close contact with us via text and phone. He worked with both our schedules, and came on the date proposed. His crew followed our requests to the letter. The workers had safety equipment, Kevin’s company is bonded and insured, which was important to us. The crew worked continuously and cleaned the site completely, chipping the branches and hauling everything away. Johnson’s was not the lowest bid, but we sensed a quality job. Kevin is an arborist and can « read » the pruning history of the trees. He knows his business. We got our money’s worth and will hire this company again! "A&Y Performed a tree removal for me. It was approximately an 80-foot tree very close to my house and backyard deck. I was a bit nervous as I had seen "TREE Fails" on YouTube. Their insurance was current and complete so that helped my nervousness:) The crew arrived on time and had the tree removed by noon. I was very impressed and highly recommend A&Y for tree removal. They left the worksite clean and split the rounds and stacked the wood for me (I wanted it for firewood). I felt the price was fair and the customer service was excellent. "Joel & his team are honest, brave , & hard working. They arrived on time everyday & cleaned up & left my home neat & well cared for every night. I have dozens of large live oaks & Monterey pines on my property some 60 feet tall. Joel helped me maintain a fire safe cleared area all around my home removing huge branches & limbs from trees that had to be climbed & cabled for safety. These are tree professionals. Actual experts not just tree trimmers. My property is a steep hillside. No problem. Most of my trees are 50 to 100 years old. Some I planted as a boy. I am 63. Everything was done safely & neatly with every tree cared for so each will thrive & live another 50 or 100 years. Joel even found a dove’s nest full of baby birds on a limb 40 feet up set to be cut & came down to ask me how to proceed. "We have a big yard that was in need of a good clean up. It took a couple of visits to get it under control and he has been able to do a stellar job since. He has done medium pruning and knows a good deal about the plants in our yard. He was highly recommended and he gave us a very competitive quote.
