All work was done at a high level of quality and in a timely manner. Communication for planning each of the tasks easy and reliable. Contractor arrived on time. "We recently quoted out the painting of our front hallway (includes vaulted ceiling) to 4 different vendors. We chose Perfect Painters because they offered the same level of service (and paint quality) as the other three, but were the most competitively priced (two of the other vendors over-quoted us for a very straightforward project - walls were in great shape: it was just a refresh paint job on the upper walls above the chair rails and molding. One was $1,100 more expensive than Perfect Painters!). When I told these vendors that they had lost the bid due to pricing, both suggested that they were "very comfortable" with the prices they quoted us and suggested that we might be getting a lower quality job from Perfect Painters. I can assure you that was not the case - the team arrived on time and quickly got to work covering the area in tape and plastic. The team of three expanded to 4 or 5 in the afternoon to complete the job in about 6 hours (2 coats on walls, ceiling and crown molding). They did an excellent job and left the space as they found it. I have no hesitation in recommending them and will use them again for my next painting job. Beware of other vendors out there who will jack up the price and try to justify it by suggesting that the job is complicated by elevation (the ceiling is about 19 feet high at the highest point - its called a ladder!, or the fact that they have to tape the banister!) Next time, I won't waste my time and simply have Perfect Painters do the job for me. They are honest and straightforward and the crew who did the job were very friendly and efficient."

"June 30, 2022 - This is a follow-up of my July 2021 review: Several months after Chesapeake painted and made exterior repairs to the front bay window of my home, and after my initial review on Angie's List, I contacted the company because the bay window repairs were disintegrating as a result of shoddy workmanship. Phi (project manager) quickly came out to inspect, scheduled a date to redo the work, and said that he was sending a different team to do the work correctly. However, the weather and subsequent scheduling conflicts moved the rework to the spring of 2022. Phil sent the team of Willy and Emilio: they were punctual, professional, very pleasant, and their craftsmanship is excellent. This is the work that I expected the first time and Chesapeake delivered the second time around. Thank you Phil for always always responding to my concerns and frustrations, and to Chesapeake for standing by their work and making thing right. D. Atkinson Bowie, MD July 2021 review: The company did an excellent job scheduling a date for my exterior house painting and they also worked with me to resolve an issue I had with the project's final cost. The office staff is very professional and pleasant. I might have given a higher rating, but my experience with the crew was not what I had expected given the great reviews I read from other customers. I was disappointed with the crew that was sent to paint my house. They arrived about an hour late. I was able to communicate with only one person on the crew as the other members did not speak english. The only english-speaking member left the job for several hours to pick up composite sheets to replace wood panels. During this time I noticed that the painters did not place drop cloths on my deck or on two lower roofs. As a result, paint was dripping onto my deck and the lower roofs. I had to search for a foreign language translation app on my cell phone so I could communicate with the crew to tell them to use drop cloths as well as to explain a few other issues and concerns. Frustrated, I contacted Chesapeake Painting to complain and a manger was sent to my home. The manager arrived about the same time the crew member returned from picking up the composite. The manager apologized to me about the problems and he spoke with the crew member about my concerns and the painting job in general. After the job was complete, the next day I noticed areas that needed more paint and the company came back to apply more paint. However, a couple of days later, I noticed the same area still needed more paint or sanding. There were also areas where I eventually noticed where the work detail could be better. In fairness, I didn't call the company back to resolve as I just wanted to move on. The overall paint job was good. Would I hire Chesapeake Painting again? I'm not certain. Maybe this crew had a bad day at the office as we all sometimes do. But if I decide to hire the company again to paint the interior of my home, I would need a different crew or the crew(s) that received the excellent work reviews."

"The management and staff at Spiros Painting were 100% professional from beginning to end. They responded immediately to my request for an estimate. They had someone come out to look at the project site the next day. I had called another painting company who told me that they could not provide an estimate unless I assured them that I would sign a contract within 30 days. Spiros made no such stipulation. Spiros began the work about a week after I accepted their proposal. This was partly to accommodate own my schedule; they could have started earlier. The rear wall of the house is difficult to access, but Spiros was able to deal with the situation without bringing in any special equipment. They scraped and patched the wall thoroughly. I have had experiences with painters in the past whose scraping amounted to a light rubdown. Spiros was very conscientious about removing ALL of the peeling paint. The company was patient with me when I changed my mind a couple of times before the work started, about the color I wanted. The work was finished in two days, partly because it was interrupted by rain. The company cleaned up thoroughly after the job was done. I'm very pleased with the work and the workmanship."

"J and C Company LLC was awesome! I have been wanting to have a wall removed that separates my kitchen and living room in my split flyer home for a long time. The wall had power through it, an air return, and most of my kitchen cabinets, along with the oven and refrigerator. With little success in getting things going with other companies I decided to take a chance when I saw J and C Company LLCs work van at a traffic light on my way home. The light seemed extra long because i was able to read everything and even draft an email to them while at the same light. Julio contacted me in response to my email within 5 minutes of me sending it and asked where i was located and said he could be to my house in 15 minutes! I was shocked lol and of course my kids had activities to be to so i scheduled to meet the next day for a quote. Julio was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained everything that would need to be done (power needing to be moved, repairs to wall, ceiling, and floor would be needed, etc.). He also asked me questions I had not thought of since i just knew i wanted the wall gone. He did not rush through the conversations and did not just throw numbers at me or try to sell me anything I did not want. He was a great listener and explained everything thoroughly and clearly. i received his quote the next day as promised for the work i requested (very reasonably priced!). He was able to immediately fit me into his schedule when I said i wanted it done asap and said it would take 3 days. I picked the Tuesday he had available the next week. He said he would arrive between 7 and 8am but I asked him to arrive at 8 to allow my kids to leave for school, which he did. He arrived promptly at 8 each day (3 consecutive days). They covered everything and cleaned up each day before they left. They separated the living room from the wall to be removed with plastic that had a zipper to enter and exit. They also covered the stairs and floor leading to my front door. He also made sure my kids could still access the living room which I greatly appreciated. We were still able to live and go on our daily routines while they worked (i stayed home during the work in case they needed me but i stayed out of the way to not hover or be nosey lol). The times i asked additional questions about potentially moving something else in the kitchen i was not met with frustration or anything. Again, he heard me out, did not label anything with price tags and he kindly provided me with stuff to consider when doing certain things I was asking such as my oven was on the wall removed so i wanted to move it to where my dishwasher is. They removed the wall, fixed an air return vent that was once in the wall, moved electrical including power for the oven, repaired walls, floors and ceilings, applied primer (we opted to wait on paint due to possible color change even though he offered to match the paint for us). They also were very careful with cabinets that were removed from the wall since we are not buying new ones right away and just set them aside for us. Julio had two gentlemen working with him over the 3 days and they worked from when they arrived to when they left around 3/4pm each day and taking a lunch break each day (my kids came home around 3). Each day he would explain how he left things or what to watch out for and to be careful for my kids if we went into the now zipped kitchen. i have felt at ease during this whole process and did not feel like I was going to surprise with something at any point. I will definitely be using his company for more business! So glad i took the chance at that traffic light! Highly recommend J and C Company LLC. (fyi - they have some videos and images of their work on Facebook as well when i was looking to see the type of work they did)."

Edged and cleared out all of our beds, spread 10 yards of mulch, and rebuilt a 70 yard long french drain. Our neighbors commented "It's looks like something you see in a magazine." We agree! Amazing team -- so polite, attention to detail, and hard working. Love these guys!"

"Joe immediately came out and gave us an estimate. Based on other estimates we received, Joe’s estimate was in line. When we decided to go with them they were able to send a crew over in a very timely manner. The crew was headed by Hector. The crew was friendly and very competent. Joe stopped by each day to supervise the work. The crew cleaned up each day and replaced all of our furniture at the end of the job. The painting was excellently completed. We have already recommended the company to several colleagues who were looking for painters. Joe, Hector and the rest of the crew are true professionals."
