We purchased a townhome last year and decided to leave the majority of our main floor flat white, which turned out to be a poor choice with a toddler and a dog. Manor Works painted our tricky stairwell and a number of walls on our main floor, even touching up a few of the spots that we had missed or marked up while painting ourselves. We interviewed a few painters and Manor Works was not the cheapest, but their prompt communication, easy scheduling, and quick timeline made them the easy choice. We got responses to email and calls within hours, even when we had nit-picky clarifying questions. The online scheduling/calendar feature made it easy for us to find a time that would work for everyone, and the team was able to do the job in one day, which others could not offer. They even offered to move our heavier furniture for us when they arrived. The quality job that the team did made it all the more worth it. They left our home clean and beautifully painted. There were several walls on the main floor with vivid colors that needed to stay and they worked carefully around what was already done. I have yet to find even the tiniest splatter or droplet of paint."

"First of Craig is top notch.  No pressure sales and to the point on what needed to be done.  Craig's team prepped wall surfaces which had not been touched in 25 years by the pervious owners.  Tons of nail pops!!!!  The paint crew did a fantastic job of surface preparation and the paint work including all cut in's were perfect.  I also had Craig's team paint two rail bannisters in a piano black high gloss which turned out beautifully.  The Wow 1 Day team performed a very detailed taping job to ensure perfect painting of bannisters with no runs or over paint.  Lastly, the Wow 1 Day group prepared and painted my two bay garage floor which had been surfaced in a mystery paint many years ago and which could not be walked on without paint dust being tracked into the house on the bottom of shoes.  The crew spent an entire day diamond "wet" grinding the floor to ensure it was stripped completely of the old paint leaving only the raw concrete fllor.  A Sherman Williams floor epoxy paint surface was applied with flecks for for texture.  Perfect garage floor paint job worthy pictures in any high end car magazine.  I will use these guys this spring when exterior painting is needed.

"I just purchased a property that was in DIRE need of paint and a fair amount of prep work to take off previous layers. The previous owners did a terrible job at painting, and even painted over every outlet, switch, and face plate. It was time for a makeover. I started browsing here for possible companies to use. Naturally, I pursued quotes from a couple other businesses, and made my decision based on the details and overall value. This was a little unusual too, since it was in the middle of the COVID-19 social distancing and self-isolation. So, I arranged for Solutions Painting to come out for a quote. What I had working for me is a vacant house that I didn't move any furniture in yet. Plus since I wasn't staying there at the time, it would minimize risk to their employees. Mario came out for the estimate, and walked me through everything they do. This ranges from very extensive prep work - removing [mostly] anything attached to the walls: vanity mirrors, bathroom lights, stair railings. They sand down the surfaces, remove old caulk, recaulk, etc. Then they paint, and re-install anything at the end. Mario, who was walking me through everything, also strongly recommended obtaining new bathroom items - toilet paper and towel bars, lights, and mirrors. They'd install them for no extra charge if I had them on hand before work was complete. I was debating at the time if I wanted that, considering I just closed on the place and wanted to devote funds to other items as well. On top of this, Mario also said they can remove the popcorn ceiling in the basement and make it smooth! Seriously, does ANYONE like popcorn ceilings these days? I moved here from out of state, and did not have as much work done on my last painting hire (only painting walls, nothing else), so I wasn't sure what to expect for costs. Plus, I have dental molding, so it tends to be a bit more tedious to prep and paint. Of the 3-4 estimates, Solutions Painting was a little more than the others, though the others didn't bring up removing the basement popcorn ceiling. There seemed to be a [mostly] comparable level of prep work with the others. What made me decide on Solutions Painting was the time that Mario took to walk me through their process, which gave me a better feel for who they are as a company and that they would provide the level of attention to many of the same things I was looking for. I also took into consideration that Solutions uses better paint (Sherwin Williams) than some of the competitors offered. Coupled with the breadth of reviews, I was more comfortable moving forward with them. I contacted the office to set the start date. I honestly hesitated on the popcorn ceiling, hoping to save a little more money. But, after a few minutes of waffling, I went ahead with the original set of services stipulated in the estimate. I provided the painting selections to the office, and two days later the team was there to start the job - showing up early! They got to work right away. Mario again brought up his recommendation to get new bathroom sets (TP holder, towel holder, etc), so the fantastic paint job isn't spoiled by re-installing the old materials. While I wanted to delay some of the upfront costs of a new home, I ultimately decided to listen to his expertise and bought new materials (and I'm VERY happy that I did). I'd check in usually daily, to see how things were going or to drop off some of the materials I acquired, rarely needing to check on the work itself. I dealt primarily with the job foreman, Antonio, who was amazing to work with. He asked me any questions the team had on some specifics, to ensure they did everything to specification. I also was able to ask questions or point out a couple touch up areas as I went through, and he made sure it was taken care of. I never had to be concerned about the quality of work the team did. The quote estimated 8 days to complete; the team finished in 6! Needless to say, Solutions Painting is an absolute quality company to hire for a job. I couldn't be any happier with the results than I was. Everything looks amazing, and the recommendation on new bathroom materials definitely complemented the quality of the paint job. They are worth the cost, and are a great company that I'd definitely hire again!"
