"Wow! Sam and Calla exceeded all expectations. They are responsive, communicative and take the same care with your home as if it were theirs. Our 25+ year old home is cedar sided and needed some love. Their knowledge and experience with cedar/log homes is extensive and showed in the results. Our home was carefully cleaned and re-stained, the foundation repainted and our rear deck, which was in a bad state, rejuvenated. When we begin an update of the interior, they will be our paint team. "Brian worked with us for about 12 months on scheduling the project as we had significant exterior repairs to porches and trim due to winter damage. He assisted us on paint selection (many different shades) and ultimately we choose a slighly darker shade than was currently on the home. Brian's attention to detail was evident on the finished product. The pallette of Grey is crisp against the bright white trim, and the moldings and bead board ceilings of the porches appear to jump out in detail. Brian was willing to work around repair projects and move on to other areas of the home, while repairs to trim occurred. Some sections of the home were beyond the reach of ladders and Brian rented a Boom Lift to assist with these higher areas. The work took 3-4 weeks, which was a bit longer than some of the quotes we received from larger companies; however, Brian's attention to detail and willingness to work with us on our schedule were welcomed. We would reccomend him to anyone looking for a good value, and great attention to detail. <br />"

"Excellent! I'd bought a beautiful slab French door last year from Habitat for Humanity ReStore, and painted it this past winter, but had difficulty finding someone to install it. After doing a lot of research, I found that installing a slab door requires a high degree of carpentry skill. <br /> I got David's name from my aunt - he has done some work for her. He came by on 08/13/15 with his assistant Seth to look at the job. The installation was complicated by the fact that the French door is a true exterior door - 1-3/4' thick, whereas the original back door  was 1-5/8" thick. After discussing two approaches to adjust for the great thickness, we went with my approach of trimming the door stop by 3/8" so that the door would sit completely within the frame. <br /> We arranged to do the work on 08/19/15. The work took a couple hours. He removed a lock remnant from the previous owners from the door frame. He did say candidly that he was not a finish carpenter, so I had to fill the spot where the lock remnant had been with wood putty, and also fill the area on the frame where the bolt lock had been on the original door, but I was fine with that. I do some DIY work, but I know my limitations - installing an exterior door is one of them. When they were done, David and Seth moved the original door to my cellar per my request - I may reuse it in the future.  <br /> David and Seth came back the next morning after I had chance to paint the raw wood that was revealed by the trimming. They quickly reinstalled the weather stripping, and we settled up. The $125 price was a bargain - the fellow I know at Home Depot's door desk once told me that $500-600 is a normal price for slab door installation. I've lived with door for a month now, and it still moves and locks easily. It is very nice having more sunshine in my kitchen. I'll appreciate it even more when winter arrives and the kitchen is both warm and sunny.    <br /> David and his assistant Seth were friendly and down to earth, and I felt very comfortable with them in my house, and that's important too.  <br /> <br /> <br />"

"The project went very well. Don worked hard to get the initial steps of priming and painting the drywall done in between other contractor schedules. This meant starting at 6:30 am and returning when coats were dry and the carpenters and plumber were out of the way. <br /> The knotty pine walls were done in stages to meet the overall project schedule and were completed right on time. <br /> <br /> His detail and professionalism is everything you'd expect and his work was complimented on by the carpenters and everyone who has seen the finished house too. <br /> There were a lot of stages to doing all the types of paint and sealer that we picked, a lot of hard work goes into painting an entire house. <br /> <br /> He is very dependable and keeps you informed of the time and space needed to get things ready and done. <br /> I've attached some before and after pictures of the knotty pine work. <br /> <br /> <br />"
