I got several estimates but I really liked Jason (owner) He talked more about what I wanted unlike others who told me what I should do, while still offering his advice on products and services. Once we agreed to move forward with the project he came by personally to get my color ideas and offered his professional opinion and expertise. I wanted something different and that is exactly what I got! Every person who was involved in the process was respectful, professional and I felt completely comfortable with them, their abilities and having them at my home. Now I wasn't expecting perfection as this is an old house but when completed it looks way better than I anticipated! "Can't say enough about these guys, they are the best for painting and drywall.  Last year they painted the exterior of our home (see prior review) and did a fabulous job and customer service was the best.  Many neighbors have now had them paint their homes after seeing the job they did for us.  So of course we called them for this small drywall patching and we even call them for handyman work.  They patched the wall where we had to cut out the drywall from a plumbing problem and painted the wall plus one other wall.  You would never know there was ever an issue, the wall looks perfect!  I recommend D & R Coatings to everyone! <br />"

"Pete and his son, Zack, did an excellent job pressure washing, making necessary repairs to the siding, caulking, and painting the outside of our house. We wanted the same custom color--Pete was able to find the perfect color which was a standard color so that down the road if we ever needed it, it would be easier to get. He also went above and beyond by helping us in replacing a man door to our garage, and when we realized we wanted to get new outdoor lights which we had to order online, he made another trip out to install them for us. But most importantly, he met the deadline to get our house painted before the cattis flies hatched. Since we are by the river, each year these half-inch moth-like bugs hatch and get all over the windows and house. We didn't want them to get stuck in the paint. Pete worked around the rainy days and came at just the right time to get the job done before they hatched. The back side corner of our house is very steep which Pete was able to tackle. Since he is so strong, he was able to move a heavy extended ladder all around. Pete and his son, Zack, are very professional nice guys aiming at keeping the customer happy. We highly recommend them--especially if you are as picky as we are with details."
