But, they came in, did not try to snake anything, just looked at the drain, and said they need to install a clear out inside the house for $950, not covered under my warranty, and then they can begin trying to clear the drain for$500, but I have old pipes and they may need to be replaced. I declined, called another plumber, who worked hard for a total of 4 hours over 2 days, but eventually found and cleared my blockage with different sized snakes for $600. Google Mr. Rooter for rip-off stories all over the country. They immediately want to tear up your pipes and find all kinds of new charges to add. I wasn’t gonna let myself get scammed."
