"American Home Shield sent them, I had what turned out to be a difficult drain blockage near my washing machine. But, they came in, did not try to snake anything, just looked at the drain, and said they need to install a clear out inside the house for $950, not covered under my warranty, and then they can begin trying to clear the drain for$500, but I have old pipes and they may need to be replaced. I declined, called another plumber, who worked hard for a total of 4 hours over 2 days, but eventually found and cleared my blockage with different sized snakes for $600. Google Mr. Rooter for rip-off stories all over the country. They immediately want to tear up your pipes and find all kinds of new charges to add. I wasn’t gonna let myself get scammed."

"You have to pay up front before any work has been done through his website or phone app. And you pay for a set amount of hours. If it takes longer, you pay again. You don't get reimbursed if it didn't take as long as you paid for. If he has to travel to get a different part, he is on the clock for that too, even if he bought the wrong part to begin with. Seemed like he was learning a few things as he started installing some things, like the closet doors - he bought the wrong roller mechanisms and didn't know how to install a peep hole eyeglass - in fact he lost a part of the magnifier and had to go back to the store to buy another one, as well as the closet roller mechanisms - all at my expense. I do not recommend this company."
