"I have yet to see the quote, so I really cannot evaluate the contractor in terms of quality, or timeliness other than his arrival on time for the estimate and his professional demeanor and attention to detail."

"This company was very professional and reasonable on the price. The crew that came in was in and out of here within three days and gave us a beautiful bathroom. We had new flooring, vanity, shower, toilet, and lights put in and the bathroom painted. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely be calling them for more projects in the future."

"My first experience on Angie's List was to find a contractor to repair a leaking roof.  When I purchase my home the roof had been replaced within 2 years of purchasing.  Yet within a year water was leaking into my living room.  When other contractors came out they'd stand in the driveway and look up at the roof, then tell me all I needed were new gutters, which didn't help. All in one actually got up on the roof to investigate determining where my roof was leaking and fix it. With their estimate they provided proof on insurance and state contractor certification.  Before the roof work commenced,  rain was forecast All In One, covered the roof with tarps.  Once the work was completed they cleaned up the yard and driveway of all the old tiles, nails, and other debris.  Shortly after they completed there work, it rained again.  I held my breath but no water came dripping down from the ceiling.  In addition to the roof, since they were going to be up on the roof, I had them replace an old skylight.  No, the skylight wasn't the cause of the leak, I just took advantage of the opportunity to replace it. <br />"

"My dad built my house when I was seven in 1954. I hadn't been able to get it painted in over 10 years, so it needed a lot of prep work. The house is real redwood, so Bob made sure that he used the best possible paint. to preserve its quality. The crew were really nice young men, and they worked diligently to finish the project. These folks are real professionals. In fact, when I found out that this company provides an entire array of services, I asked Bob to give me estimates on some painting and siding for my business. While they were my highest bid initially, they were able to work with me to make the work affordable, and I know from experience that cheap is not necessarily the best. In this case I know I got a real deal. I'd recommend this company any time. <br />"

"We have used this company for over 20 years, and have had consistent, and excellent quality work. They are reliable, accountable, punctual, and clean up is thorough. They resolve all issue immediately to the clients complete satisfaction. Estimates are always complete and reliable, and the plan of action is clearly explained prior to work commencing. The first time we used them, they actually practically rebuilt the structural portion of my home after they came out for a completely separate minor issue, and discovered an extremely dangerous condition due to poor architectural plan and shoddy workmanship by a previous architect and builder. They acted immediately to remediate the issue and make my home safe and sound. The current work they performed was thorough, all issues addressed and completed in a very timely fashion! Clean up was as per their usual quality. I have more worked currently scheduled and will continue to use and recommend them, they are terrific!"

FAQs for exterior home or structure paint or stain projects in Bellevue, IA

Painting vinyl siding is a budget-friendly way to revive curb appeal without paying for new panels. As long as the boards aren’t warped, cracked, or leaking, a coat of high-quality acrylic paint can buy you another five to 10 years before replacement.

Stick to lighter shades so the siding doesn’t soak up excess heat, and prep the surface well for the paint to bond. If you’re seeing rot or moisture damage, skip the paint and plan for new siding instead.

High-quality acrylic paint is recommended for vinyl siding. Acrylic paint adheres firmly to vinyl surfaces and resists peeling and fading, providing a sleek and long-lasting finish. Ensure the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for optimal results. Your exterior painting pro has the expertise to properly prepare your siding’s surface to ensure proper adhesion.

Priming is not required if the vinyl siding remains in good condition and is properly cleaned. However, if the original color is severely faded or the panels have become porous, priming becomes essential. Priming provides a smooth, even base that improves paint adhesion and enhances durability, ensuring the acrylic finish adheres properly and lasts longer.

A paint sprayer is the quickest, most consistent way to coat vinyl siding. The fine mist reaches grooves a roller can miss and lays down an even layer in a fraction of the time. You’ll still need a brush for tight corners, but a sprayer slashes labor hours and reduces lap marks.

If you’re renting equipment, ask the supplier for a tip size made for exterior acrylics so the paint atomizes correctly and sticks to the siding.

Painted vinyl siding lasts between five and 10 years. The durability depends on the quality of the surface preparation and the local climate conditions. When the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepped, and high-quality acrylic paint is used, the finish endures longer. In hotter regions, the lifespan may be closer to five years, while cooler climates help extend it.
