"We used these guys to stain our screen porch and deck for us. The job required scaffolding for the exterior of the porch, and would not be easy to accomplish as a do-it-yourself job. The labor cost is fairly high for what is fairly straightforward, so I would recommend if you have a complex deck system (as I did), with a lot of elevation and difficult to reach places. However, for less complex decks to be stained, it might be worthwhile to simply have them power wash the deck, and do the staining yourself. The owner was helpful and had very good communication via email, which is surprisingly rare in many other home-related contractors. <br />"

"It's crazy - but the mortgage company wanted JUST THE WINDOW TRIM scraped and painted white in order to approve our home loan. We scrambled to find someone - two different people recommended Tom Tecklenburg - and we're thankful that we called him. He was able to mobilize quickly and get the work done. He came out in the cold, blustery weather, scraped and painted the window trim, to the satisfaction of the inspector. Thank goodness! We were able to get the loan underway again and bought the house. "<br /> Barton Little is very charismatic and personally works hard to hound unresponsive insurance agents until they give your claim the personal attention it deserves. The roofing crew that he hires did a good job with installation, and left the yard etc with very few scraps. I believe I was able to find a total of 3 nails/screws throughout the entire yard, so overall great job there. Mr. Little also requires no payment until you are paid by the insurance company- another reputable business practice to look for when hiring a roofing company, and prior to making our final payment, he either answered the phone personally or returned calls/texts/emails within the hour of missing our communication. <br /> Unfortunately,the crew nailed the new roof through our expensive gutter system, which also needed to be replaced, and thus would not have been an issue had he returned our calls or emails in order to come rectify the issue- which will require removing that lowest portion of roof to slide the old gutter system out and then reinstall that portion of the roof. Not that I'm claiming this is easy-I've never installed a roof- but it should be a straightforward project with a straightforward solution. <br /> It took 3 weeks for Mr. Little to contact us and resolve this issue, but when he finally emailed us, he promptly sent a subcontractor to our property to assess the project, and the subcontractor then quickly scheduled a day to complete the work. Per the gutter company, there were no further problems that they could see, and from the street the roof looks as beautiful as the day it was installed.  <br /> Thus, I give Synergy Roofing an A rating. A+ for initial hard work and quality of installation, A- for follow-through post-installation, but with some prompting Mr. Little will be true to his word and his warranty, so I would recommend Synergy Roofing for all your roofing and general contracting needs."

"<p>Our house was built in 1928 so painting it had a few challenges. I can always tell if a job is well done by how much clean up I have after the job. There was very little splatter. Our house is approximately 1850 sq feet and the job took two days. The guys all did a great job, and were very professional. </p> <br /> We will be calling him to obtain a bid for the exterior work in the next week or two. <br />"

"When I asked them to come out for the estimate, she said she would call before hand and she was right on time. The estimate was emailed to me with in 48 hours. They were prompt, actually they were early. They had already power washed the front porch by the time I got home. They did notice the house had a lot of oxidation on it, they offered an extra cleaner for it. There was an additional charge and the offices called me back in 30 minutes with the extra price quote. About 3 hours later they were done, all the furniture back in its place and everything cleaned up. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I have already recommended them to other people."

"The heater they supplied was a good one.  However, they sent an inexperienced repairman to replace the heater.  He slipped and fell through our newly remodeled bathroom.  The company repaired the hole in the wall with the wrong texture and then wrong the  type of grout.  We are going to have ceiling repaired by a company recommended by the my daughter who works for one of the largest builders in the country.  I have cancelled my service with the warrantee company.  I now have to pay an additional $150.00 to have the ceiling refloated and all the wrong grout taken off and replaced with the correct type. <br /> <br /> *In response to service provider response: We hired 1 contractor that they recommended. He came out and said that he did a lot of work for High Tech. He fell through the ceiling that same day. We called High Tech the same day. They wanted my husband to go up in to the ceiling to get a model number. He is 79 years old and could not do that. We then had to contact a different service provider and pay an extra $150.00."
