They were so courteous and respectful and meticulous in their prep and carpentry work- and we had A LOT of things that needed fixing like rotted windowsills, broken deck stairs, incomplete trim moulding, broken shingles and a crooked garage cupola. They fixed it all! Now my 115 year old house looks so beautiful and I can’t thank Paul and his team enough. They were also so tidy and cleaned up their work areas every afternoon before they left. If you’re considering Olde England Painting just hire them. You will not be disappointed. Last but not least, they were also the most reasonable quote I got and I met with 5 other painters. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!"

But let me tell you this: having Fernando and his team at our home felt like having a friend or a family member who's happy and willing to help with whatever hurdle comes up: lines up a roofer to take a look at a newly discovered leak, takes time to build a custom shim for a light fixture that wasn't flush with the ceiling, and even proactively, and without being prompted quietly fixes a misaligned door. It would have been understandable for a contractor to say "sorry, not my problem," but this is a company that goes above and beyond, and never cuts corners to rush to another job. I look forward to working with them again."

"I needed drywall repair for 3 cellar walls, part of cellar ceiling, and part of walls in garage. I had been in touch with Sandro multiple times to talk through the project and to coordinate the work. He was very professional and very responsive. The workers came in two phases: drywall first, then painting second. They were very punctual and ready to work. The drywall was done in one day (which seemed great) until I realized as they were leaving that the drywall to be installed in the garage was not done. So... the drywall folks had to actually come back for a second day. The painting came next and that was fine but with a few hiccups: a color chip was sampled to determine the paint color to be used. This paint color was used for trim and the walls. Since only part of the room was being painted there ended up being a slight color difference between old wall to newly painted wall. The other minor hiccup was when the painters left for the day without letting us know they were done. We were home the whole time, so not sure why they did not call or contact us we could review their work. The other minor thing was a week or so later I noticed a small pile of drywall fragments at the edge of my property in the woods. Looks like the remnants of the drywall project ended up there."

The team from North Shore did a fantastic job - they were thorough, fast for such a large project, and respectful of our property. The team's attention to detail was extraordinary - before the last day of work, we did a walk around to make note of the handful of items that we saw that we wanted to make sure got done. Without us even needing to mention those to the team, they addressed every single one as part of their final touch up process. This level of attention to detail is not something we have had from all contractors we have worked with. We would absolutely use North Shore again for future projects. Pricing was fair, but not cheap - that said, you get what you pay for and the quality speaks for itself."
