"I initially called for an irrigation estimate. Pedro/Peter was on time for our first appointment and was professional, polite, and pleasant. While discussing what I needed for the irrigation project, he noticed an overly wet spot in the lawn. He correctly identified the problem as a leak in the main line and, although he said it was probably going to be on my side and my responsibility to repair rather DWP's, he advised me to first contact them anyway to confirm before paying him to start working on it. That engendered a feeling of trust that he wasn't trying to rip me off. Plus I immediately knew he was correct because my tenant had complained of unusually high water bills. He and his brother Frank came the next day and fixed the problem at a very reasonable fee. They worked efficiently and quickly and cleaned up nicely afterwards. They installed my irrigation system satisfactorily and planted plants for me that I purchased from a great nursery recommended by Peter. Also, I had wanted sod but Peter advised me to just aerate the existing lawn (which was very beaten up by the previous tenant), fertilize and reseed in order to stay within my budget. Turns out he was right and my lawn has greened up nicely. Peter and Frank are just plain nice guys and good human beings as well as reliable and trustworthy. I am still an ongoing customer as they now take care of my lawn on their gardening route. I would highly recommend them to anyone."

His son's were helping him and I like family run businesses. We discussed our needs, and the cost and we were off. No changes to the original quote, no new charges or requirements, and he brought plenty of help. These guys started right away, trimming, hedging, and cleaning. They filled a truck full of yard debris in no time. They cleaned up everywhere, including places I had not emphasized the need. They went above and beyond and were very respectfull of the property. "I ordered an inspection $80 to be waived if this company did the work. The inspector was very knowledgeable. A report arrived promptly by U.S. Mail as requested. I scheduled the work, but the forecast was for rain, so I called to reschedule. (Water collects under my house in a storm and I didn't want subterranean work done due to risk of injury/presence of water.) There was a lot of push back on this, but the job was later rescheduled. Ole came out and did an excellent job of taking care of the termites. The inspector alerted me to the presence of a rat living in my attic--this was much appreciated and I called an exterminator. Ole reattached my clothes dryer vent, which runs underneath my house. That was also appreciated. His impromptu inspection of my foundation wasn't warranted, in my opinion, as I don't know his qualifications for that type of work."

"We have absolutely no complaints and are thrilled with the outcome.  Ken Bragar responded the same day to our initial phone call (even coming out to our home to meet with us on a Saturday afternoon).  New to the west coast (and SoCal in particular), we relied on and appreciated his expertise in coming up with a plan and list of plants that would work on our property and meet our HOA's requirements.  Ken was willing to make adjustments in design plans and in the positioning of the plantings as the project progressed to ensure we would be happy with the final outcome.  He also traveled far and wide to get the best plants.  His work team was hard-working, careful, professional and competent - often going beyond the call of duty, doing extra work trimming bushes and weeding whenever there was "down" time during the project.  The project was designed and completed within a short time frame and the work was done, as contracted, in 4 days.  The completed project has exceeded our expectations.  We know that come next spring/summer, we will be even more pleased when the plantings produce blooms/flowers.  We especially appreciate that Ken is willing to continue providing services and to help out with any problems/concerns that may arise in the future.  We, therefore, know that the cost for the services that were provided was money well spent. <br />"
