"First off! I was so worried about finding a good painting company that would also not rip me off. from the first call to the end of my project the gentleman was so wonderful and so friendly. They were there when they said that they would be. It is so hard to find good honest people and he really is great! I knew I could trust him and his team with my home. I love my home but it needed to be painted inside and I knew I wanted someone to do it right but also care about the house and the owner. I felt so comfortable around this team. they not only painted great they cleaned up the mess! I cant praise this company enough !!!! I absolutely LOVE them. "Edwin was very responsive and was the only painter that I contacted on Angie’s List who replied for my request for estimate in a timely manner. He had a good price and kept in touch with me about scheduling so our job was able to be done sooner when an opening came up in their schedule. His crew was on site every morning at or before 8:30 AM for the job which took 4 days. They did a good job on the painting, pressure washing and window cleaning and were very responsive when we pointed out small issues which they quickly took care of for us. Throughout the process Edwin communicated to us in person, via email, and via text messages to discuss paint colors and specific requests. All in all, they did good work for a good price and are the most responsive contractor I have ever dealt with. Highly recommended!"

"Julio and his team did a wonderful "handyman"-type job for me. I highly recommend him and his company. Details: I recently purchased two specialized, folding fire-escape ladder systems from a company in New Jersey. But I needed someone local to install the devices on my house. They look like big downspouts, but when a user pulls a pin at the top, they fold out to sideways ladders that allow people to escape from upstairs windows. Julio came out to my home to watch the installation video that the fire-escape company had on their website, and then said "no problem" to install the ladders. He returned a couple of days later with a two-man crew, and they installed both ladders in about 5 hours. No muss, no fuss. He charged me $550, which I found fairly reasonable for a three-person crew for that amount of time--particularly since it was kind of an unusual installation job. During the job, Julio was faced with two or three minor complications, which he handled without any problems. I think that speaks well of his expertise as a handyman. Julio and his crew were exactly what I was looking for this kind of job."

"Manny was great! Hanged, taped, mudded, and sanded roughly 8.5' X 8' wall that I framed... had 'my studs' not been slightly twisted, bowed and warped the wall would be 100% perfect. Manny's work was excellent and the wall is smooth no divots or gaps. I provided the drywall and corner bead. Will definitely hire Manny again!"

"This is the second time I used Shalom Home Solutions for a painting job, after they did a good job on my rental. This job involves a four bedroom single family house with a finished basement, totaling 5166 sqft. The painting includes all interior surface and baseboards, with minor drywall repair and caulking. Amilcar and his crew did a very good job. They arrived early everyday around 7 a.m. and leave around 4 p.m. The cherry hardwood floors were covered with drop cloth and the railings were covered with plastic sheets. Some elaborate window treatment had to be taken down and put back. The house was cleaned up after the job was done. There was no damage in the process. It was completed on time. Amilcar was very communicative throughout the process, responding to my text message and email quickly. The only minor negative is when he brought in a few newer painters one day and their work was a bit rushed (not taping up the cherry shoe molding). Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the work."

"FABULOUS!!! We had a very tight timeline between taking possession of the house and moving in. Jaime did a wonderful job painting 6 rooms and all the baseboards/molding/mantles in our historic home. He finished the job right on time at the cost he estimated. Best experience I have ever had with home improvement work! I’ve already booked him to return in March and do the exterior of our house."
