"Very professional business. Request for estimate received a prompt response. Mark showed up on schedule & gave me ideas on modifications that had to be done to cabinetry in kitchen to install the new range hood I was interested in buying; he also shared some technical information to consider, to help decide whether I should even buy the appliance I was considering - which I appreciated very much. Once the appliance was delivered, Mark showed up again on schedule & finished the job on time. It was evident that Mark had done many such similar projects.Very prompt customer service, excellent communication through out and technically competent. If I need any appliance work done in the future, this will be my go to business."

"I hired All Pro Appliance Installation to re-install a partially installed bosch dishwasher that Home Depot had "installed" only part way and left crooked. They got in contact with me quickly, and were able to schedule something for the same day. They're a small team, and I was impressed with the efficiency and organization. While Lee was here fixing my dishwasher he thoroughly listened to all my concerns, and answered any questions I had while he worked. He confirmed and checked with me at various stages to be sure I was happy, and made sure that the dishwasher was flush with the cabinets, properly level, and could open and close all the way without obstruction (and issue we were actually having with the first instillation attempt). Afterwards he ran through the tips and tricks of our dishwasher model with me. Including a "cancel cycle" option not at all obvious in the controls that involved holding down the start button for several seconds. I was impressed with his depth of knowledge, perfectionism in the instillation, and over all customer service. Not once did I feel like my questions and obsessive hovering were a burden. He mentioned that the normal fee for appliance instillation (including haul away and installing custom panels) was usually $150. That's about what I paid Home Depot to come and do it badly (and unfinished), and they wouldn't touch the custom panel. I'd call it a very good deal for the price, especially considering the quality and attention to detail. I'm very happy with the instillation and hope to work with them again when I have more appliances that need to be installed or replaced :)"

FAQs for appliance (smaller size) installation and replacement projects in Brighton, CO

Garbage disposals last around 10 years when properly maintained. If your unit is getting close to that age or repair costs are increasing, it might be time to consider a replacement. Regular maintenance and careful use can help maximize your garbage disposal's performance and help it reach its maximum lifespan.

There are several signs to watch for that indicate your garbage disposal needs to be replaced. Replacement may be necessary if it doesn't work even though it's properly connected, the blades are worn and causing delays in operation, a persistent foul odor that won't go away, or leaks coming from the bottom due to a compromised seal. If you're experiencing any of these issues, it might be time to consider getting a new garbage disposal to keep your kitchen running smoothly.

A plumber or handyperson can install your garbage disposal if the electrical connections are already in place. If you need additional electrical work, you'll also need to hire a qualified electrician to handle the rest of the job. Hiring local professionals ensures the installation is safe and up to code.

It’s important to avoid putting certain items down the drain to keep your garbage disposal running smoothly and avoid clogs. Expandable foods like pasta, rice, oatmeal, and bread can swell and cause blockages. Coffee grounds, grease, fats, and oils can accumulate and create clogs. Hard items such as meat bones, nuts, and fruit pits can damage the disposal blades. Eggshells, potato peels, and fibrous vegetables such as celery, pumpkin, corn husks, artichokes, onion skins, and asparagus can wrap around the blades or obstruct the pipes.

Not every sink is suitable for the installation of a garbage disposal. The compatibility of the sink with the disposal depends on the material and structural integrity. While many standard sinks support these units, fireclay sinks are prone to cracking under the added stress and should not be used. Confirm that your sink can securely accommodate the disposal before installation.

Choosing the correct size garbage disposal depends on your household size and how much waste you produce. A 1/3–1/2 horsepower unit should be sufficient for households with one to two people. If your household consists of three to six people, a 1/2–3/4 horsepower unit is recommended. FA3/4–1 horsepower model will be necessary. For larger households of five to eight people
