"I was really hoping not to have to resort to writing a poor review. But since Jaime is no longe responding to me to come to a resolution, I feel it necessary to save the next person some trouble. We hired Jaime and his team for a stucco repair. Initially Jaime seemed great. Responsive, punctual, and provided a fair price. He and his team completed the project in a timely manner, but the only way I can describe it is sloppy. The stucco job itself is okay, until you get to the edging around the trim. It is so so messy. They actually put stucco on the trim of one of our windows so we will need to have that scraped before we can paint our trim. Then there’s the mess they left. They pressure washed the house before starting the project and left behind stucco and paint chips. And I mean everywhere. My husband and I have spent 6+ hours cleaning up their mess. There is still stucco covering the ground around the entire house. We have plants and rocks that are completely covered in stucco that will all need to be replaced. Jaime and his team also left behind garbage from their lunches and a pretty horrible surprise behind our back shed. The night they finished the project I found our dogs behind the shed (where they never go) sniffing a pile of human feces including all the napkins used. Flat out disrespectful and unprofessional. So my advice would be to go with another company. I’ve seen good reviews and hopefully this was a one off for Jaime, but I am highly unsatisfied with the work they did and their lack of communication to come to a solution. Save your money."

"12/28/20 Update (Rating and Details will be updated as project progresses): Pro Superior Construction was the 5th and final bidder for full replacement of siding and windows for my 2-story 2,000 sf home. I was about to award one of their competitors and thought why not give them a bid. I was impressed by Todd and Dan, their salesmen - their responsiveness, knowledge, and courtesy was unmatched even amongst the various other James Hardie certified installers included in my RFP. They were not the cheapest, but I awarded them the project in October 2020 based on the above mentioned attributes. For context, my profession is managing commercial real estate for global companies which encompasses managing multi-million dollar construction projects throughout the state. I work with contractors daily if not hourly. On Nov. 4, 2020, Dan came by to capture some missed window measurements. I paid him the deposit as well as the 20% payment for materials. The check was deposited and cleared on Nov. 5. Materials were being ordered and the longest lead time was 3-4 weeks for windows. Everything went downhill fast. The project was handed over to their scheduler, Brogen. In the next 7 weeks I spoke with Brogen no less than 6 or 7 times. He is very courteous however we has dropped the ball on every single delivery he promised. The last 5 times I called him - and this is not an exaggeration - the conversation started with him profusely apologizing for a missed deliverable. My project was scheduled to start on 12/22. On 12/21 when I did not receive any details as to dumpster delivery, arrival times, crew size and name of lead foreman, I tried contacting Brogen multiple times without response. So I escalated to Todd who, up until this point has been responsive. He also didn't get back to me so I called Dan, who called me back the same day and told me he'd check with Brogen on scheduling. Brogen called me back and again apologized for not scheduling per protocol, stating he wrote the dates on a whiteboard which got inadvertently erased, and as a result the project start was moved to 1/4/21. I pushed back. Me and my lady took off 2 weeks to accommodate a 12/22/20 start. Brogen worked to get a crew to start Mon 12/28. Then on Sun 12/27, I get a text from Brogen apologizing that the crew needs to start on Tue 12/29 due to needing to pick up remaining materials for project. At this juncture my comfort level with Pro Superior is shot. All the good work and rapport developed has been undone. Nonetheless I'm still confident this could be salvaged with the install crew. More updates to follow once project is substantially complete. Update as of 3.04.2021 Wow did Pro Superior Construction (PSC) come through in the end. These guys had to deliver in a major fashion to recover from 2 stars to 5, and they did. First, PSC sent an absolute rock-star crew. I mean 5-8 people each and every day busting their butts. This crew (Alex/Vitaly and team) saved the day. They showed up each and every day (some Saturdays too) on time (7:45-8am) and stayed until the sun went down. They took breaks in brevity and worked tireless from beginning to end of shift. I work from home and have observed each and every crew member. Alex/Vitaly's crew work extremely well together, very efficient with excellent synergies. And the level of customer service was outstanding. Just a great group of folks all the way around. Todd (sales) and Brogen (scheduling) also stepped up in a big way, taking care of missed scope and ensuring the project was completed to my full satisfaction. I am in the real estate industry so am very particular about details. In the end I'm extremely happy with the decision to award PSC my project despite the initial schedule and communication issues. PSC owned up to these faults and never made excuses, and also admitted to some lessons learned. This goes a long way with me. I would not hesitate to use them again and have already recommended them to several neighbors who have complimented me on my home. **12/28/20 Update 2/5 Stars (Rating and Details will be updated as project progresses)** Pro Superior Construction was the 5th and final bidder for full replacement of siding and windows for my 2-story 2,000 sf home. FAQs for exterior home or structure paint or stain projects in Butte-city, CA

Painting vinyl siding is a budget-friendly way to revive curb appeal without paying for new panels. As long as the boards aren’t warped, cracked, or leaking, a coat of high-quality acrylic paint can buy you another five to 10 years before replacement.

Stick to lighter shades so the siding doesn’t soak up excess heat, and prep the surface well for the paint to bond. If you’re seeing rot or moisture damage, skip the paint and plan for new siding instead.

High-quality acrylic paint is recommended for vinyl siding. Acrylic paint adheres firmly to vinyl surfaces and resists peeling and fading, providing a sleek and long-lasting finish. Ensure the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for optimal results. Your exterior painting pro has the expertise to properly prepare your siding’s surface to ensure proper adhesion.

Priming is not required if the vinyl siding remains in good condition and is properly cleaned. However, if the original color is severely faded or the panels have become porous, priming becomes essential. Priming provides a smooth, even base that improves paint adhesion and enhances durability, ensuring the acrylic finish adheres properly and lasts longer.

A paint sprayer is the quickest, most consistent way to coat vinyl siding. The fine mist reaches grooves a roller can miss and lays down an even layer in a fraction of the time. You’ll still need a brush for tight corners, but a sprayer slashes labor hours and reduces lap marks.

If you’re renting equipment, ask the supplier for a tip size made for exterior acrylics so the paint atomizes correctly and sticks to the siding.

Painted vinyl siding lasts between five and 10 years. The durability depends on the quality of the surface preparation and the local climate conditions. When the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepped, and high-quality acrylic paint is used, the finish endures longer. In hotter regions, the lifespan may be closer to five years, while cooler climates help extend it.
