"We have no complaints at all about Lamb Painting and Drywall.  Lupe Lamb is polite, quiet, does everything he possibly can not to interfere with the residents,  thoroughly protects all items that aren't being painted, and does it all quickly and efficiently.  Lupe does not take on three or four jobs at a time, but keeps coming to our home every day until the work is done, so we don't have to be disrupted any longer that absolutely necessary.  He has done work for us three times now, and we will be calling him again soon to do another room.  Ceiling to floor, the finished job is perfect!  You can't go wrong with Lamb Painting and Drywall! <br />"

"Travis Griffin is a very respectful, friendly, and a professional business man. His willingness to wear a mask while working for my safety was very appreciated. He was very upfront about everything involved, there was no upcharge for materials and his team worked fast! He took time to discuss every tiny detail with me and gave me all the things I wanted. While he works to support his family he is not money hungry, his main concern and focus are his customers. The final product was beautiful, clean, and looks professional. I have had work done by many people but they were nowhere near this outstanding!"

"Needed to be stripped with oxy bleach, scrubbed down, hosed off and stained. Holes in siding were expertly patched and sanded. Siding stained and foundation vents installed and s skirt painted. An excellent trap under deck crawl space flip up door was custom made. I provided the paint and stain and oxybleach scrubbing flo thru brush. Showed up early and cleaned up everyday after work. Really TERRIFIC professionals."

"The quality of the work exceeded expectations. This was a project that I had been wanting to do for quite some time and wasn't able to perform it due to insufficient construction skills and safety issues with working at a height. I was able to install the nine beams (vertical) which served as the "stilts" or support for the tower. However, since the beams had been installed for over a year a majority of them had bowed or flexed especially at the upper height. Mike was able to adapt to the bowing and flexing of the beams and construct a very solid tower with a deck on top that measures 20' x 20'. He was very careful in his work and only used high quality components to ensure high strength during winds, weight stress, etc. My expectations were exceeded: in the amazing appearance of the tower, the inability to "shake" the tower when moving back and forth on the top, the high safety railing that wraps around the tower and the stairs (with railing) that he constructed that wrap around the tower for the ascent upward. Mike was very professional and the price he quoted me didn't change. Finally, he didn't drag out construction on the project and completed the project in a very reasonable time."

"Robert shows up EXACTLY when he says he will. He has never been late. If I have to leave a message for him I know that I'll get a return call that very same day. Some of the items he fixed had been chronic problems. Once Robert lays his hand on them, there's never again an issue. He does quality work for fair prices. I cannot say enough great things about Dirty Deeds!!"

"The heater they supplied was a good one.  However, they sent an inexperienced repairman to replace the heater.  He slipped and fell through our newly remodeled bathroom.  The company repaired the hole in the wall with the wrong texture and then wrong the  type of grout.  We are going to have ceiling repaired by a company recommended by the my daughter who works for one of the largest builders in the country.  I have cancelled my service with the warrantee company.  I now have to pay an additional $150.00 to have the ceiling refloated and all the wrong grout taken off and replaced with the correct type. <br /> <br /> *In response to service provider response: We hired 1 contractor that they recommended. He came out and said that he did a lot of work for High Tech. He fell through the ceiling that same day. We called High Tech the same day. They wanted my husband to go up in to the ceiling to get a model number. He is 79 years old and could not do that. We then had to contact a different service provider and pay an extra $150.00."

FAQs for exterior home or structure paint or stain projects in Charleston, AR

Painting vinyl siding is a budget-friendly way to revive curb appeal without paying for new panels. As long as the boards aren’t warped, cracked, or leaking, a coat of high-quality acrylic paint can buy you another five to 10 years before replacement.

Stick to lighter shades so the siding doesn’t soak up excess heat, and prep the surface well for the paint to bond. If you’re seeing rot or moisture damage, skip the paint and plan for new siding instead.

High-quality acrylic paint is recommended for vinyl siding. Acrylic paint adheres firmly to vinyl surfaces and resists peeling and fading, providing a sleek and long-lasting finish. Ensure the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for optimal results. Your exterior painting pro has the expertise to properly prepare your siding’s surface to ensure proper adhesion.

Priming is not required if the vinyl siding remains in good condition and is properly cleaned. However, if the original color is severely faded or the panels have become porous, priming becomes essential. Priming provides a smooth, even base that improves paint adhesion and enhances durability, ensuring the acrylic finish adheres properly and lasts longer.

A paint sprayer is the quickest, most consistent way to coat vinyl siding. The fine mist reaches grooves a roller can miss and lays down an even layer in a fraction of the time. You’ll still need a brush for tight corners, but a sprayer slashes labor hours and reduces lap marks.

If you’re renting equipment, ask the supplier for a tip size made for exterior acrylics so the paint atomizes correctly and sticks to the siding.

Painted vinyl siding lasts between five and 10 years. The durability depends on the quality of the surface preparation and the local climate conditions. When the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepped, and high-quality acrylic paint is used, the finish endures longer. In hotter regions, the lifespan may be closer to five years, while cooler climates help extend it.
