"We found Carlos after getting bids from two other companies. Not only was his bid much lower than the other two, Carlos was very patient with me as I was juggling a tired 1 month old grandbaby as he prepared his estimate. We first had his crew complete an interior and partial exterior paint job at our recently purchased rental property. Carlos also gave us some really good recommendations on colors and suggestions on fixtures to go with the theme. The house looks beautiful, clean, and nicely updated thanks to his eye and the crew's care and attention to detail. In addition, there was not one drop of paint not where it was supposed to be! The attached image is our home where he recently completed the exterior. I was amazed that they could complete this project on our 2900 sq ft home exterior in only 3 days! Again, he gave us solid recommendations on the accent color (I was unsure at first, but he was spot on!). Their crew is super professional and friendly, they even covered our neighbor's house for any overspray. Again, super neat job, and we could not be more happy with the results. "We hired Professional House Painters Corp (PHP) for our home’s exterior painting. Right from our very first contact, every interaction we had with was very professional, respectful and positive. Alex Machain and his team of workers were always very respectful and on time. Our main interaction was with Alex and we can’t say enough good things about him. Alex made sure that everything went well through the planning and execution phases and that the exterior painting was done to our full satisfaction. "Overall, we are very satisfied and would recommend. This was our first time having the house painted and Samantha patiently helped us to work through our options. We had a couple of trim boards replaced due to dry rot. They pressure washed the house and prepped it for painting in about a day. The painters asked questions to make sure they understood what we wanted. We had a little trouble with rain, but they worked hard to get it done quickly. Our yard is small and the sides are tight, but they worked it out and didn't need to access the neighbors' yards. We didn't have any unwelcome surprises like debris left behind or paint smudges in weird places and no complaints from the neighbors. "At the end of September, I was advised by a siding contractor that my LP siding (which swells and warps if in contact with moisture) was at risk through another Portland rainy winter. My home had not been painted for over a dozen or more years. I realized our rainy season was upon us within just a couple of weeks and needed to find a painter and have my home painted before the rainy season arrived. I researched on Home Advisor various painters, as well as contacted many of the more common painting contractors in our area. Futures Painting contacted me right away. Because of their excellent reviews, I added them to my list of consideration. Sergio met with me at my convenience and was very detailed in how he planned on protecting my siding and paint my house. Many other painting contractors I contacted either didn't call me back, or they said it was too late in the season to paint. I walked through the job with a couple of other contractors who did return my call but their description of the work they planned on was not as comprehensive as a solution as what Futures Painting was proposing. Not only did Sergio and his crew perform an incredible job on my home, but they also went above and beyond. They caulked every seal and joint. Also used the highest quality primer and rolled it on my LP siding rather than spraying. He said this was to push the primer and paint into every seal and crack. Luckily the first two weeks of October were sunny and they were able to get my entire two-story home painted as well as my deck before the rain. The painting is meticulous, clean lines, and no errant paint in places there shouldn't be. They scheduled timely, arrived exactly when they said they would and worked daily--even on the weekend--to ensure they finished in time for my home to dry before the rains arrived. I am not a person who writes reviews normally. But I am beyond happy and compelled to share my enthusiasm. If you hire Futures Painting, you will be as happy. Sergio will know who wrote this review. "<p>Our 70-year old home was looking quite sad with paint peeling on every side, rotten boards, and a general sense of neglect. We were unsure of what could be done to get it back into shape.</p> <p>Of all the paint contractors we contacted (5 in total), Tyler from Shades of Rose put us most at ease. His bid was very competitive for the amount of work and he was honest, straight-forward, and patient with whatever questions we had. His crew arrived on time every day, were courteous and professional, and cleaned up thoroughly every day. They even removed and reinstalled our crazy storm windows without a complaint - which was a herculean task (Tyler said afterwards that they were the most difficult the team ever had to deal with). </p> <p>At the end of the last day when we had our final walk around, I was amazed at the transformation of our house. I think Shades of Rose did a tremendous job and I am thankful that we invested in them.
