"Just hire someone from {remove company name} it will be faster, more transparent, and cheaper. Despite numerous conversations with people describing the number of items and boxes, they end up sending a crew that was too small. On top of that, they assured me I was first on the list for Saturday, and then scheduled a job before mine. The crew showed up 4 hours late, and then attempted to badger me into changing days. Dispatch assured me numerous times they were going to call me, would be right there, etc. etc. After speaking to the ?real? manager, they ended up discounting ~$340, after ballooning the cost of the move $1,000 because of the way they count time and waste inordinate amounts of it anyways. At the end of the day, after having moved ~50 moves all around the US with the Navy and in my career, this is hands down the worst move I have had. Hire a handyman, or your neighbors son, it will be better and cheaper."

"Excellent service. The movers were super professional and quick. They took great care with all of my furniture and belongings. I have no complaints about the gentlemen who did the work. The quote I received was an hourly rate for two movers. Shortly before the move, I was informed it would go up to three movers, which would be faster, so fewer hours, but a higher rate. I agreed. It still took three hours. The original quote for a one bedroom apartment was for three hours plus an hour for travel with two guys, and with three guys it would allegedly be the same rate. Yet I ended up paying about $200 more than I was quoted. They are on par with the other movers I checked out, perhaps a little higher. I did not appreciate the bait and switch, but in the end, it was good work."
