"The job was quoted by the salesman and then the person doing the work didnt do what the salesman had quoted. I had to go up and check the work in order to get the invoice adjusted. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THEIR WORK . then the salesman came back out and noticed the installer didnt do some things , so in the end they have bad communication between sales and installers. Make a list of things they said they were going to do and then verify that they did them because they wont tell you and then just send the bill."

"As a person in the plumbing trades both new construction and service work I have come to appreciate the skills of someone who does a craft full time and is encouraged to develop skills to make it “their” full time occupation and career. Drain cleaning is part of maintaining a plumbing system. It is a craft different than installing and repairing plumbing but it is just as important to do it correctly. The other values in McDonough’s services are several having the equipment and personnel trained and available is paramount to this no matter how big a job has gotten they have never stopped until it was completed! The other feature that is not fully understood by many is that it is always best to use someone that has only one purpose in mind and that is to get the drain cleaned and inspected and has no reason to up sell you on some repairs or replacement that you don’t need. That why we use them as a plumbing company and recommend them to our valued clients. "It wasn't timely. He hires cheap labor that does everything but isnt good at anything. The framers were hacks using broken lumber in spots. Sheetrock cracked and needed repair ( which they did) the new shower was installed without specialized mounting clips and the flange on shower walls were cracked. The shower door did not function and when I went to fix it, the hanging hardware fell off. New flooring throughout the house including the new addition. The new addition subfloor wasn't screwed correctly which resulted in a reinstall. In the old part of the house, the subfloor was not prepped properly causing the vinyl plank to bow and crack. Jim refused to fix. Jim's crew forgot to put a vent on roof so water came into house and collapsed the bathroom ceiling. ( He did take responsibility and fix that) overall very disappointed with someone that claims to do quality work. If I could rate lowerI would."
