"I would highly recommend Jimdandi Painting for any painting needs. For us, they did a fabulous job on our home exterior. I could not have been more satisfied! Note that this is not a typical painting company: the owner Dan works with just two other men and it was obvious that all three took great pride in their work. When Dan came to do the estimate he did an excellent job first listening then explaining their process and materials. He made it clear that they wouldn't be the cheapest because their company and approach are different. Dan carefully customized the service based on our situation. For example, with our house, the builder did a poor job installing the HardiPlank siding, thus there were loose boards and many more nail holes and gaps than would have otherwise been present. Dan suggested a different grade of chalk that would expand and contract more than the typical painters chalk that is applied and can be painted over immediately. In this case, after the house was thoroughly cleaned, the crew checked and secured all loose planks, scraped and chalked, and then allowed the caulk to cure for a week before starting the painting. This is just one example of the care Dan and his crew took during the job. "Did not hire as I interviewed with the owner of the company who came out to price the jobs and give a proposal. I had him price every room in the house and rooms would be done alacart since we live in the house it takes time and space to empty and move items from rooms to be painted to rooms not being painted. In the interview I found out that they do not remove electrical outlet cover plates or bathroom mirrors that they just tape it up and paint around that was all I needed to hear NO THANKS! I am looking for painters that paint PROFESSIONALLY! I have seen some painters that are so skilled that they didn't need to tape off wood work they were really that good but even they knew you remove electrical outlet covers, bathroom mirrors and furnace vent returns. I also found that they were more expensive than other painters who actually took all the extra steps. So I DID NOT HIRE."

"CDH is a Fantastic company! I was greeted with respect and courtesy in my conversation. Clint, the owner of CDH, called me personally. I shared with him the details of my project. He has a lot of experience in the resurfacing business, and he pointed out a couple of things that I hadn't thought about. I wanted to resurface my tub due to a chip in the porcelain and the increasing difficulty I was having with the cleaning the tub. Clint let me know this was common with cast iron tubs as old as mine (28 years old in fact), and that this would get worse over time. He recommended an inexpensive option to fix the chip, and let me know how his process worked. My wife didn't want something that stunk up the condo. Clint assured me that they vent to an outside window and use a scent that smells great. The drying time is just 4 hours and uses environmentally safe materials that really don't add much to the cost, but protect the homeowner and Clint's crew. There was NO pressure to book a job, just a genuine desire to help and make sure all my questions were answered. Clint was also happy to share his pricing with me and explained that he offers the best price he can while maintaining a profit margin that allows him to stay in business and treat his customers and employees well. I did the temporary patch for $5 Clint recommended, and I'm going to have him come back in the spring or summer to re-glaze the tub. I'm a business owner, and I respect his desire for excellence in product and service. I also greatly appreciated his openness and honesty. I will be hiring him for this Spring or Summer. If you have need of a re-glazing project I can't think of a better choice than Clint and CDH. I'll update my review after I have my project finished."
