One thing that really impressed me that they were removing the trees in decomposed granite. Looking at the work locations, you can not tell that trees were recently planted."

"The project far exceeded our expectations.  First, Kirk Barlow came over and gave us his vision for turning our wreck of a backyard into a show piece.  He sketched out his plan to include large boulders, river rock, black lava and paths.  It looked too good to be true on paper and really got too good when he gave his quote of just under $19K for what I was guessing would have been at least $30K.  We signed the contract with estimated start date of sometime in March.  We received a call from the job foreman, Ernie in mid January which was a pleasant surprise.  He said they would get started on that thursday and he wasn't kidding.  A crew of 7 or 8 guys showed up along with two bobcats and a trackhoe and things really started rocking and rolling.  Over the course of 4 days, these guys transformed our mediocre weed patch into a work of landscaping art. Load after load of material was dropped in front of the house and just as quickly moved into place in the backyard.   Fourty tons of boulders and uncounted yards of black lava, river rock, DG and gravel along with hundreds and hundreds of feet of drip line provide a great background for strategically place trees and shrubs.  I still can't believe they did this monster job in four days and never asked for an extra dime over the quote.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Little City Landscaping to anyone.  Great job guys.  Thanks Kirk and Ernie!  You guys rock, literally! ;) <br> <br> <br>"

"My neighbor recommended Keeping It Green. I scheduled service, and they performed it pretty well. Missed a weed here and there, but it wasn't really a big deal to me. <br /> Then I got a bill. Marked as payment NET 10 days on 10/22/13. Then on 10/31, they send me another invoice, marked "Late 1-30 days". So, I was a bit miffed that I was already delinquent on a NET 10 day payment after 9 days. I know it's a pretty small complaint, but I wanted to share so the owner could clean things up a bit. <br /> FWIW, I'd use them again. They didn't require payment in advance, nor at the time of service to begin. That was breaking tradition with every other lawn aeration/cleanup service I've used in town. With that said, the billing thing just didn't leave me in the best of moods. <br />"
