"We only had a few pieces of mechanical things, like a water softener, water heater to dispose of from our house. After the phone service told us the minimum charge was $188 for 1/8 (?) of a truck, we assumed that the two upright containers would surely only take that amount of room, especially since we had used them before and had an understanding of how big the truck was. When the workers arrived, they had a smaller truck, so - guess what? the charge was higher! In addition, thinking of the space in the truck we'd seen before, we had added a couple of items to what we wanted disposed. The total cost, including sales tax, wasa $$322! AND the electronic processing system forced us to choose a tip amount. A tip for what? A tip for doing their job? VERY UNHAPPY"

Many of our employees are first or second generation family members. We will give you a full quote over the phone, and honor our pricing when we arrive if the debris removal project was as described on the phone. We treat our customers fair and ask that they treat us the same way. We have EZ load roll-off containers and dumpsters in sizes from 5 to 18 yards.

"AACE Hauling promptly dropped off the dumpster at the time they said they would and put it exactly where I wanted it. When they dropped it off I asked for the driver to make a note to pick it up on a certain day. That must have gotten lost because they didn't show up on that day. I called them and they were out the next day, so it wasn't a big deal. It was painless and they pulled out some metals from my load for recycling, which was nice. Will call them again for future projects."

"Walters acquired me as a customer from LePage in 2020, where I had a 3 year price guarantee that started November 2020. After a year, Walters started increasing my price without advance notice. This quickly got out of control, going as high as a 91.8% year-over-year increase! Overall, my bill increased 140% in a 2 year time period. This is much higher than inflation, which has only topped out at 8.6%. Walters is price gouging on an essential service – this is indisputable. When I contacted Walters, they gave me a line about their costs going up and offered me a $7 quarterly discount. They wouldn’t budge to make any reasonable concession in pricing, even though I offered to pay an inflation adjusted price from my original billing. When I was transferred to a supervisor, he was conveniently out of the office. I had a similar experience with Walters when I was with them previously. At that time, they admitted that they automatically increase their customers’ bills after a year. This is a disgusting, unethical practice and results in bills that raise endlessly. NEVER use Walters. Their pricing tactics are predatory and unethical. Walters should lose their trash hauler license in C*** Rapids due to their unethical business pricing practices on an essential service. I have left Walters and gone to another provider who was willing to provide a reasonable price."

"I contacted Keith Krupenny & Son as they listed they would take railroad ties. I had several landscaping 4x4s that I thought were railroad ties. I called them went through the job and they gave me a very competitive bid for a 4 cubit yard dumpster with seven railroad ties. The dumpster arrived on time, I placed everything in it and they picked it up with no issue. I got a call the next day informing me that I did not have railroad ties and that they would be returning the extra money I had spent to dispose of those. What an honest business! I would recommend them to anyone and won't hesitate to call them for my next remodeling project."
