"Vanir did an amazing job on my yard! They were on time, professional, and the results look fantastic. I’ve already gotten compliments from family and friends. Highly recommend!” “I couldn’t be happier with the landscaping work done by [Company Name]. From the very beginning, they listened to my ideas and offered great suggestions to make the space even better. The team showed up on time, worked hard, and paid attention to every detail. The end result completely transformed my yard — it looks beautiful and well put together. I’ve already had several neighbors ask who did the work! If you’re looking for a landscaper who is reliable, professional, and truly skilled, I highly recommend [Company Name].” Do you want me to include specifics about the type of work they did (like patio, garden beds, sod, or trimming), so"

"Love Budget Blinds of Williamsville. Choosing window treatments for my dining area and living room was the final step in my remodel. Taylor and Galina assisted me in choosing vertical blinds for my living room window and dining room patio door. It was such a pleasure working with them, I felt like I was a very special customer from start to the finished installation of the blinds by Rick and Kirk. If you are looking for window treatments, look no further than Budget Blinds of Williamsville. You’ll be happy you did. Lots of options and price was reasonable."

Hey, I'm Lance! I became a professional online portrait artist in 2006 after my family was taken from me in a tornado losing my mother, father, brother, and son. Twenty-eight lives were taken as well as all their possessions, like mine. I drew from destroyed photos their families so they could have memorial portraits of them at the funerals and for the rest of time. Since then I have made a living traveling the country doing shows and drawing from photos you email me on line. There is NO GIFT more unique that brings more tears of joy to a loved one's eyes like one of these. Nothing. I've seen it time and time again. I make it affordable to anyone who's ever wanted one of these. Paintings with half the detail of these can cost upwards of $30,000 limiting something like this from hanging in living rooms for families to the rich only. Not anymore. Here's how it works..\n Simply email me your favorite picture or pictures to aarontristan39@gmail.com with a brief description of what you would like done. The bigger and clearer the picture the better the drawing. I will start an initial sketch right away and take pictures of it and show it to you. Please email them quickly if possible, because the holidays are coming and I get busy. Once the initial sketch is done. I usually take something down on it. It's a lot of work doing the initial sketch. This varies on the cost of the drawing which we will discuss right away.\n Drawings are usually 175 for 9x12's\n 225 for 11x14's\n 275 for 14x17's\n After this process is done I continue with your art piece sending you photos on line all the way through which many people find a lot of fun. I am also friends on Facebook with almost every person I've ever drawn for as well and would like to be your friend as well if you would like that. I post them on FB at your discretion. It makes me way more legit to people as well. \n The Prices vary with the art because of the size of the drawing as well as the number of faces. The number of faces DOES NOT double the cost. Usually an extra face is added depending on the size from anywhere between 25 and 50, but I do deals on these more than anything, so please call me about it at .(850) 691-3976

"Working with Brent Conley from Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Rochester was a GREAT experience! Brent easily understood what my needs were and was able to provide additional creative suggestions that made what I was looking for ten times better. During the proposal phase, Brent provided routine communication that showed exactly what he was going to do and what the finished product was going to look like. During the installation phase, Brent and his team were professional and competent, and I felt 100% comfortable with him when he was on site. The final product was exceptional, and I have gotten many, many compliments on how the building looks. Feel free to drive by 1441 East Avenue and take a look at the exceptional work performed. I would fully recommend Brent and the folks from Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Rochester."

FAQs for holiday lighting add or remove projects in East Amherst, NY

If climbing ladders or handling wiring isn’t in your comfort zone, hire a pro. Look for installers who post clear per-foot or hourly rates, carry insurance, and have solid reviews. Comparing at least three quotes helps you spot fair pricing without sacrificing safety. Skipping credentials to save a few dollars can cost you far more in repairs, so pick a qualified team and enjoy a safe, eye-catching display.

Yes, booking between February and September often scores lower rates because demand is light and pros have open calendars. You might even negotiate a discount package that includes removal or storage. If the budget is tight, ask whether a handyperson or an off-season permanent-light install makes sense for your home and timeline.

Determining the number of holiday lights for your house depends on your home’s size and specific decorative vision. Your project requires 10 to 20 light strands for a basic exterior display, with 100 lights allocated for eaves and an additional 10 to 20 bulbs for each awning.

For trees and substantial shrubs, allocate five to 10 strands per unit to achieve complete and balanced illumination across your property.

Tipping isn’t mandatory, but it’s a nice way to thank your installer for a job well done. Most homeowners offer 10% to 20% of the total bill or round up to an even figure if the crew exceeds expectations. A small extra goes a long way toward showing appreciation—and may help you snag priority booking next season.

Yes, you can install holiday lights yourself if your property layout is straightforward and your electrical system is secure. Homeowners who are confident in their ability to safely handle wiring and use proper equipment can save money with a DIY approach.

However, it is crucial to test all outlets thoroughly and secure the proper ladders and safety gear before starting. Careful planning and adherence to safety guidelines are essential to protect yourself and your home while achieving an attractive display.

Start by clearing the area of loose debris, damaged shingles, and anything that could trip you up. Test outdoor outlets and, if you’re unsure, bring in an electrician. Use a sturdy extension ladder (or scaffolding for very high spots) and never work alone—having a helper steady the ladder is non-negotiable. Taking these simple steps keeps you, your roof, and your new lights safe.
