"We have vinyl siding, so the job included front porch columns, outside doors, trim and soffits. They gave a lower price, but we requested 2 coats, so they upped the charge a little bit. They actually landed slightly above the first of the 3 estimates we got. Sounded fair, and we got good work. <br /> <br /> I noticed he didn't paint the underside of my crawl space vents and asked him to. He did it, then told me that they weren't painted originally. I thought that was pretty classy that he did the work before mentioning it. He did something that wasn't in our contract and didn't charge extra. He also suggested that the kickplate under our patio door be done in grey instead of white, since we have 3 young kids. He'd already painted it white and said I could discuss it with my wife and he'd redo it the next day if we like, which he did. <br /> <br /> The only reason I didn't give them an excellent score for quality is because there is one drip on my front door, and the guy couldn't get my front door handle installed properly. It's kind of weird, and took me about 40 minutes before I had it figured out. <br /> <br /> When I'm ready for more painting, I will call these guys."

"After over two years of working on our plans, and getting some preliminary drawing done we had a great vision for our new back patio. We talked with numerous builders as we prepared to start our project. We met with Anthony, and looked at several of Straight Line’s previous projects. We marveled at how elegant their projects looked, so we chose to work with them. While we thought we had our project figured out, Anthony did suggest that we may make some adjustments during the course of the construction. He was absolutely correct as we choose to make several adjustments during the process. Everyone we worked with connected with Straight-line; Brad-owner, Anthony-project manager, Brant-lead carpenter, Wesley-concrete, Andre-Painter, Mike-electrician, were so helpful. All the workers we’re more than willing to accommodate our adjustments. Even more valuable for us was how frequently they lent their experienced eyes to suggest options that looked better than what we had originally planned. In the end our back patio looks truly spectacular. Our only frustration was that it was hard to stay on schedule. We realize a few weeks in delay will pale in comparison to a lifetime of backyard enjoyment in our new space. We can’t stop smiling when we walk out into our newly created patio space. We would highly recommend using this company for any outdoor project large or small. In fact even after completion of the work, and payment was made they have been willing to come out to do touch up work to assure everything looked exactly the way it should.
