After a couple spring thaws, everything is working great. I would highly recommend this business and won't hesitate to have them come back for any future work needed."

"While removing weeds around some apartment buildings for my landlord in Middleton, this company's contractors tore out every single plant from my fenced garden bed, every plant aside from the actual weeds, that is. The landlord was as shocked as me, since that wasn't at all in their contract with Messner. When I contacted Messner to ask about compensation for the damaged property, the office manager was rude, evasive, and acted as though I was unreasonable to want them to somehow address their mistake. Even though one of their employees directly admitted fault to me in person the day the damage happened, it took multiple calls and the better part of a week to get them to agree to take responsibility and do something about their mistake. A week later, I check on my garden bed only to see that their idea of "making it right" is planting 3 of the tiniest daylilies I've ever seen, in a 30+ square foot garden bed that used to overflow with flowers. It looks ridiculous. At this point I've given up on getting anything else from them. They're rude, incompetent, and I'd even go so far as to say shady in the way they try to weasel out of their mistakes. Buyer beware."
