"We had these clowns come out to deal with a mole issue we had. My wife initially met with them. I showed up when they were working out a time to treat our yard. The first guy kept telling us that we didn’t need to be present for the job but over the years we’ve learned that without being around the job rarely gets done properly. So how did he get around this, by sending a guy out to treat our yard in the dark. The second guy showed up at 610pm and at my door by 615pm. I covered what he was supposed to do, which he had a look as that wasn’t what his boss told him to do. He said he was putting down poison granules to kill grubs. I looked out my window and he was walking around my yard with a hand spreader. 15-20 mins later he was back at my door telling me he was done. I knew he didn’t do anything. With a push spreader I can’t do my front yard in 15 mins. He was supposed to do my front and back yard. After he left, I looked and nothing was on the ground anywhere. So I canceled the check. No work, no pay. I contacted them and told them I canceled the payment and why. No where in the conversation did they ask how to fix the situation or they will be out to see what wasn’t done. All they wanted was their money. They called my wife wanting their payment and sent a threatening letter about their payment. Nothing about fixing the situation. 2 days ago, they sent the guy back out for the second non-treatment with the same guy. I was looking down at the guys hand spreader and all he had in it was air. He spread air in my yard. Don’t use these idiots. All they want is your money. If you do use they insure they aren’t spraying water and spreading air. $525 down the drain and yes my wife caved and paid them. First 2 pics are front yard and second 2 are backyard. No granules."

"7/3/2020 to 7/10/2020. Initially, I was pleased because they showed up when they said they would. Rocky's son, Donovan and and his fiancee, Winter were our first contacts. We were very impressed with them. We exchanged our budget and ideas. Rocky got involved when the work began. The whole project went to **** after that. Rocky started telling me that everything Donovan and I had agreed upon would cost extra. .When I showed him the contract and the agreed upon price, he ignored it. He was in on the negotiations, by phone, for the initial estimate. Fearing that Rocky would leave the job half-done, I paid him what he demanded. At that point, I thought the money had been handled. The biggest slap in the face was when he knocked on the door and informed me that I owed him $300 more. I told him that I didn't think I had the extra money. His response was, "I'm sure you'll find it." He claimed that he had to dig down trenches around the paving blocks to distribute pea-gravel that I had purchased. My husband and I watched his future daughter-in-law and his two young grandchildren create small furrows with their fingers around the paving blocks. They opened a bag of gravel and pour some pebbles into the furrows. From beginning to end, this whole process took 10-15 minutes. As they were packing up to leave, I noticed that the job was not finished. When I called him on it he said, "that's what you told me you wanted." It wasn't! I had to drag his son into the conversation to support my claim even though I had it in writing. Prior to his work, I had received 3 estimates which came within a few hundred dollars of each other. When I complained to him on the phone later, he told me he would talk to me about the additional money when he had finished the job he had left undone. We never saw or heard from him again. A job that was estimated to cost $2,800.00 to $3,000.00 ended up costing me $7,000.00."

Cost is determined by the job. No travel charges. Call to make an appointment. Consultations are free.
"Went good for a about 4 days he was paid in full and had a crew there. But when the bill was paid in full he only had about one day and a half left for his crew . 2 people showed up next day didn’t do much, and never came back. He was supposed to send information so I could send out 1099 . Wouldn’t and wouldn’t finish the job. So I am talking to the city about him doing work without a license and beating the city and state on taxes.. he is a crook... he was to finish all demo. Put in load bearing beam after the took out the load bearing wall . Was not installed properly. Left screws hanging out of the beam.. left the trash out back. Left most old duck work still in. Had to have someone else remove it and finish his work."

The optimal timing for bush trimming depends largely on plant variety and growth characteristics. For most deciduous shrubs, late winter or early spring, before new growth emerges, provides ideal results. Plants grown primarily for their flowers should be trimmed shortly after blooming concludes to preserve next year's flower buds. During periods of extreme heat or cold, it's advisable to postpone significant trimming to avoid stressing plants when they're most vulnerable.
While tipping isn't generally expected for landscape maintenance services, it's sometimes offered for exceptional work or service. When considering a gratuity, factors like job complexity, attention to detail, and overall professionalism might influence your decision. For larger crews, individual tips of $10 to $20 per worker may be more practical than percentage-based amounts. Always prioritize paying the agreed service price before considering additional gratuities.
Professional trimming can contribute significantly to pest management by eliminating overcrowded growth where insects often shelter and breed. Proper pruning improves air circulation throughout the plant, reducing conditions favorable for fungal diseases and certain insect infestations. Experienced landscapers often identify early signs of pest activity during trimming, allowing for prompt intervention before problems escalate. Some services offer integrated pest management approaches alongside trimming for comprehensive plant health.
Most overgrown shrubs can be successfully rehabilitated through appropriate pruning techniques, though severely neglected specimens may require a phased approach. Professional landscapers evaluate each plant's condition to determine whether gradual reduction or more aggressive rejuvenation pruning would be most effective.
The recovery timeline varies by species, with some showing remarkable improvement within a single growing season while others require multiple years to regain optimal form and health.
