"BEWARE OF COASTAL KITCHENS & BATHS! This review is for a complete remodel of our master bathroom that occurred in early 2024. This business has no BBB rating. This business has no employees. This business has no presence on Houzz, Angi.com, Home Advisor, Yelp or any place else online and no website. Everyone who works for John Bailey is a sub-contractor. His subs vary widely in quality. Some are good and some are not. His idiot painter tracked white paint all over our master bedroom carpet. When I complained to John about that he responded that we were going to replace the carpet anyway and so what! His sub-contractors had to access the bathroom by going through our master bedroom. THEY DIDN'T EVEN PUT DOWN DROP CLOTHs. When I complained to John about that he had them put down tarps that were so filthy that it made our floors even worse than before. When it came time to install the vanity countertop the supplier (Best Cheer Stone) delivered the wrong countertop and John didn't even notice! My wife caught the mistake. John pressured us into accepting the mistake by telling us there would be a 2-3 week delay in the project if we insisted on returning the countertop. He did get us a discount from the supplier but it’s still the wrong countertop. Recently I noticed that one of the bathroom floor tiles had cracked only 10 months after installation so I called John to see if he would replace it. He told me he would talk to his tile guy and get back to me. A week later still no response so I called him back. He clearly did not want to accept responsibility and told me that replacing the tile might damage other tiles. This is nonsense because I have had 3 tile contractors look at the job and none of them said anything about that. When I tried to get John to accept responsibility for the cracked tile he got mad and hung up on me! BEWARE OF COASTAL KITCHENS & BATHS! John Bailey is super sketchy and will blow smoke at you all day long to get your money. He does not guarantee the work and will leave you with a $600 extra charge for tile replacement. I have other complaints too but in the interest of brevity I will stop here."

We chose Rick for various reasons including that he was easy to communicate with and that he uses his own very skilled employees, no subcontractors. We completely remodeled the kitchen, the main and secondary bathroom, laundry room and installed new flooring throughout that required grinding and leveling the concrete slab. Every wall and ceiling was retextured and painted. It was a HUGE job. Rick is a hands-on contractor who stopped by the house 3-4 times a week (sometimes everyday!). Rick kept us up to date on scheduling and every addition we made to the scope of work was clearly documented in change orders that we discussed with him. "Nick C. helped this Disabled Veteran out with a severely clogged main septic drain, going above and beyond because he also cleared out slow flowing faucets, the shower and kitchen sink as well as cleared out toilet tank water line which was also clogged. He showed and explained to me about needing a water filtration system next to well water pump because sand and dirt is getting through, clogging water pipes. He also found the Rheem on demand water heater the previous owner installed is not powerful enough, so I'm having him come back to replace and install those."

With all the new health concerns caused by COVID-19 we at Professional Plumbing Inc have increased our efforts to make sure we help stop the spread of this virus. All our technicians are now wearing a new set of gloves and booties into each home. All tools are wiped down with wipes made to kill germs, not just clean them before going back into the trucks. Hand tools are periodically dipped in rubbing alcohol to further help destroy germs. These may seem like extreme measures, but we take your health and the health of all our employees seriously. Thank you for your continued business. We are not the typical plumbers, our guys are neat and clean, well groomed, respectful of you and your property. They arrive in a clean truck that is well stocked, and best of all we don't try to charge you a ridiculous amount of money to do a so-so job. Minor plumbing leaks to replacing the sewer line in you front yard. We can handle any plumbing issue you have quickly and we are affordable. We are here to help. We want your business and it shows on every job we do. We come in and quickly solve your plumbing issues, then we clean up so well that you can't really tell that we were even there, except of course, your plumbing is working the way it is supposed to. "The waste line from the washer was overflowing when the washing machine emptied out. Marc D. arrived on time, neatly dressed, very friendly. He examined the issue, found that the washing machine drain line was overflowing rather than leaking (as I had suspected initially). Luckily, there is a clean-out specifically for the laundry drain on the back of the wall. He opened the (painted-over) clean out and snaked it twice with the electric snaking device. He than tested the drain twice. No more overflow. The drain was flowing well. Since then I have used the washing machine multiple times. Problem solved!. I was quoted $ 145.- for the work and paid $ 130.50 with a 10% Angie's list coupon. I am very happy with this company and the work they did. Highly recommendable."
