"It was four years since the last pruning of my birches, so I called Bartlett to take care of it within certain parameters.  Sean came out and looked over the situation in order to give me an estimate.  One of the birches showed signs of weakening because of root girdling so Sean suggested a root invigoration.  After he explained it to me, I agreed that it would be worthwhile.  I asked that a chopping of my olive tree at the same time would be a good idea.  After I agreed to the estimate, a date was set.  The crew came out to do the pruning.  Great job---the birches were pruned so that they would be a compact cluster and not so tall and the olive tree that I just wanted chopped short looks good.  Gino came out to do the root invigoration.  It involved much more than I thought it would.  And he was so good in that he was not bothered by my asking so many questions.  He even gave me a packet of information about the work."

"We had a very tall Monterey pine tucked in the far back corner of our yard. They estimated two and one half days. It was about 30 inches in diameter at the base and maybe 100 ft. tall. With a crew of two they they assembled their necessary rope hoists, and cut off branches 10 ft at a time, carefully lowering the pieces to the ground where the other second guy sawed and piled them. At the end of the job, they used a bob-cat to remove the large logs to their truck. The less longer branches were dragged out and chipped. Afterwards they cleaned up all the chipped and smothed the surfaces when they left. Good as new except for the stump which they left (we decided it was not worth the effort and cost to try to get a stump chipper back to that location. This pine would have wrecked our house if it toppled in a strom (which pine tree often do), Cost was 2 - 3 thousand dollars. <br /> Other times they have done just a quick cleaning of dead oak branches high in the trees. 10 - 15 trees, half day, $350."

"Got three bids from local concrete people. Unique concrete was very competitive on pricing and was very good with following up. There was a small snafu when they cancelled a day before the first scheduled work day, but Ignacio explained the mix up and made sure we would be taken care of. Workday the workers showed up early. Ignacio was there to make sure all went well. Workers were polite and efficient. Cleaned up afterwards. We had one small area that needed follow up and Ignacio was very responsive and had someone over the next morning to fix it. Our project was small, and most places weren't interested or wanted ridiculous fees. Unique Concrete explained there wasn't much money to be made here but they were doing this as a courtesy to build good relations for future work or referrals. We will definitely work with them again. Ignacio was great."
