They rolled up in a gleaming GMC truck, hopped out like they were on a mission, and dove into my garage like it was an archeological dig. Ten minutes in, they ‘rescued’ a recliner that had been buried so long I think it gained sentience. Then they pulled out a box labeled ‘Important Documents’… which turned out to be 300 Taco Bell sauce packets from 2004. They handled it like hazardous material, loading it onto the trailer with tongs. By the time they finished, my garage was cleaner than when I bought the house. I half expected them to hand me a medal for “Most Dramatic Transformation.” If they start offering to clean up my life choices, I’m signing up immediately."

"Please read this carefully before this happens to you! The week of February 20th a Weed Man representative personally visited my home. He identified himself and asked if I would like a quote for my lawn service. I told him I had a service for the last 2 years and I would consider if they could be price competitive. I gave him my email address, and he walked around my property and left. On February 22 I received a quote via email labeled Weed Man â Promises Kept. I was satisfied with the quote, so I called my current lawn services and told them I no longer needed their service. I signed up with Weed Man and paid in full for the yearly service of 6 applications. On 4-13-23 they performed my first service, and everything went well. Later that day I received a phone call from a Weed Man representative. My first thought was they wanted to thank me for my business but that was far from the truth. She told me they could not service my property unless I paid them more money. As I stated earlier, I had already paid for the full year. There is only one word that can describe the business practice of Extortion. I told her I had paid for the year and expected them to honor their contract with me. She told me she needed to speak to upper management and would call me back. That call never came and the following week I attempted to log onto the Weed Man website to view my account. It gave me a message that my account was not active. I called the phone number listed on my quote and was told my account was canceled 2 days prior. I asked to be called back by someone in management. 2 days later I did receive a call and was told it was being recorded. I was clear I was not happy with their extortion practices to get me to pay more than my written paid quote. She told me they could not service my lawn for the quoted price. She canceled my service and told me my full amount would be refunded. I asked them again to honor their paid contract and if they wanted more money they could ask for that next year and let me decide if I wanted to keep their service at a higher price but they refused. It has now been 2 weeks and my account is still canceled and no money has been refunded."

"Robb and his team were incredible from start to finish. Really easy to get ahold of and communicate with. They redid our retaining wall last year and did our 750 sq ft paver patio this year. Both project a were done amazingly! Quality work that I know I’ll never have to worry about. And they went above and beyond by filling in the machinery ruts with soil, grass seed, and fertilizer. They also filled in a gap behind the patio wall connecting to our neighbors property. I highly recommend them! PS the price listed is for the paver patio."

"We contacted Davey for several projects: Remove diseased spruce, replant tree line including a consultation on best species and design (27 trees total in the end), and lawn treatments (discussed below). For the trees, I worked with Adam, the district manager for my area and a certified arborist. He was wonderful to work with. We had multiple consultations before starting the job; he itemized tasks so we could pick and choose what we could afford to do. Ultimately, we did not use them for the tree removal because we found a better deal with a guy that was just getting started, BUT we are so pleased we went with them for the planting. Adam was incredibly knowledgeable about what species of trees to avoid (for deer and disease), how to arrange them on our property for best outcomes, and even weighed in a bit on design. I had gotten 3 quotes for planting and Davey was not only competitive, but I also sensed we would get the best advice and the job would be done right. There was one minor hiccup once the project got started - some of the trees were planted in the wrong spot, but Adam and his team (project lead was Steve) were incredibly responsive and professional about it and moved the trees to their correct location the very next week. This was a large project and not all the trees were available from the nursery at once, but Adam kept me informed along the way. Additional pluses - they had great selection of the species we were interested in and the trees are guaranteed for a full year. Regarding lawn treatment: This is our first year doing lawn treatments. For the first treatment (pre-emergent) I was expecting them to come by mid-late may, but they didn't show when I expected, so I called and they scheduled me for the next week (I think it ended up being first week of June). Same thing happened a month later with the first of the broad leaf treatments. They were responsive when I called, but I do wish I didn't have to call. We'll see how fall treatment goes. I will say grass does look great even after a couple treatments and the price is comparable to their competitors."
