"I had an outer wall that was retaining moister and had to be fixed before mold set in. PPC removed drywall, and outside plaster and replaced it all. Alfredo was great to work with. He gave me a reasonable quote, communicated well and got the job done in a timely manner. I will hire them again. "

FAQs for plaster repair projects in Granite Bay, CA

Yes, crumbling plaster poses a safety hazard. Crumbling plaster overhead can drop heavy pieces that injure anyone below. The risk increases if the material contains older additives, such as asbestos or lead-based paint, which can become airborne when the surface is disturbed. Have a qualified pro test and repair deteriorating areas quickly to keep your family—and pets—safe.

Ceiling plaster repairs require a lighter touch than wall repairs. Plaster repair professionals apply thinner coats of plaster to ceilings to reduce weight and smooth the surface, which helps prevent future sagging. Wall repairs can handle extra texture and additional layers without risking structural strain. A plaster repair pro will have the expertise to determine the best technique for your problem area.
