"Our experience with Paul at Sunshine Painting Crew was exceptional from the beginning. He was friendly throughout the week he worked on painting our two story home. We went with Sunshine Painting Crew because of the cost, but our house looks so much better. He replaced rotting trim around many of the windows, caulked the entire house and painted the body, trim, gutters, and shutters. "Carlos was dependable, on time and professional. His prices are fair, and when they came out to power wash before painting, he even noticed some dry rot and caulking that needed to be fixed. He did that for a very reasonable price and even washed some very high windows I couldnâ t get to since we bought the house eight years ago. I am so impressed and appreciate his professionalism and honesty. I will definitely hire Fresh Start painting again when I need the rest of my house painted or even the interior. Great experience!"

"We requested quotes from four contractors to paint our single-level 1,300 square foot house and 8'x12' shed. Not only was Ric the only one to respond, but he emailed us less than an hour after we requested quotes and came over that same day...and it was on a Sunday. Talk about a great first impression! He sent his quote the very next day, and it was about what we expected to pay. We are very happy with the work that Ric and his crew did. Ric is very personable and professional. He listened to what we had to say, and made some recommendations such as caulking the siding where necessary, which we agreed to have him do. His crew came over a couple of days before they were scheduled to start work to pressure-wash our house and shed. The actual painting took only two days, and there is absolutely no overspray or paint drips on the concrete or on our deck. They cleaned up after themselves and the house looks brand new. We've already referred them to two friends who are thinking about having their houses painted next year."

Our 70-year old home was looking quite sad with paint peeling on every side, rotten boards, and a general sense of neglect. We were unsure of what could be done to get it back into shape.

Of all the paint contractors we contacted (5 in total), Tyler from Shades of Rose put us most at ease. His bid was very competitive for the amount of work and he was honest, straight-forward, and patient with whatever questions we had. His crew arrived on time every day, were courteous and professional, and cleaned up thoroughly every day. They even removed and reinstalled our crazy storm windows without a complaint - which was a herculean task (Tyler said afterwards that they were the most difficult the team ever had to deal with).

At the end of the last day when we had our final walk around, I was amazed at the transformation of our house. I think Shades of Rose did a tremendous job and I am thankful that we invested in them. Also outstanding was Tyler's reassurance that they would come out to fix up anything that bugged us over the next few weeks. We also have a 3-year warranty and the crew will come out if there are any issues over that time frame.

"They were fast, and overall did a good job. I was concerned about having my house sprayed, however, because of past experiences with overspray on windows. I mentioned this concern, and was assured that this would not happen because all windows would be completely covered with plastic. It turned out not to be the case. Some windows were covered, but most were not. There was overspray, on some windows, and paint spots on some of the white window frames. I'm working with them to get all of this cleaned. It might not be a problem for everyone. But it's a problem for me because I can't climb a ladder to get to the windows."

"This company is tops. When we were rushed for time with a vacant single-family home rental, Sonny Hess and her team helped us tremendously. There were many needed repairs in addtion to the painting of the exterior and interior. The quality of their work was excellent. Clean-up was so good. Pricing was very reasonable. Sonny is experienced and knowledgeable. She knew how to get the entire exterior of the house painted and siding replaced SAFELY during a rainy season with her timing, the use of tarps and plastic sheeting, etc. With a team of 4 or more on a given day, you could see them working like a well-oiled machine, never wasting time, making every minute count. What was special, was how approachable every member of her team was . . . patient with questions, etc."
