"If you want to pay the most exorbitant prices possible for your job, this is the company for you. “By the job” pricing is a rip-off, at least how these people use it. Every job is plugged into a category and prices are set by category. You might have a job that takes half an hour or one that takes 2 hours, but they’ll both be charged at the same (astronomic) rate. Had a leaking drain pipe under the kitchen sink. Needed new seals and maybe a section of plastic pipe replaced. Less than an hour job. Plumber came out and quoted $700. These people do not apply the $99 trip charge to repairs. After expressing outrage he lowered the quote to $400, plus the $99 trip charge. And tried to make it sound like he was doing a big favor. So $500 for a less than an hour job that even with $100 an hour for labor should have been $200 or so. I ate the trip charge and showed him the door. But if you like expensive plumbing repairs this is the place for you. No job too small to charge huge money for."
"My husband and I were so patient, and gave BRC every opportunity and benefit of the doubt. A few warnings for others: ~The staff will not show up, we the customer had to follow-up half way into the day to see if they are showing up. ~A timeline of 1-2 weeks took 5 weeks Honestly it’s still not complete. An example is the ceiling. We can see the drywall through the coating, but we don’t even want to deal with it anymore. ~The carpet was not what we wanted, AT ALL. We text the owner pictures and got something completely different. Also, the cheapest pad when we asked for the thickest they make. We weren’t shown the carpet choice until they already installed it. The owner said due to the pandemic selection was limited. ~The owner lost the paint chip. We had to find a new one for the contractors. ~Left dry pieces in the utility closet that we now have to dispose of. ~Some special design over the sump pump was to be removal, only the top lid removes. Replacing will be a blast. ~The final straw the the final day the finishing touches (after already being finished) was due to take place. It was a he said, she said, who was coming show. Finally at 4pm someone arrived. ~Even better is the owner and manager has not contacted for a follow up from being complete. He has not done a final walk thru. We made the mistake of paying him before it was finished. Quality=average after requesting multiple fixes. They did not self identify any issues. The company over promises and under delivers."

"Fantastic job by Rain One. I had to have all new pipes put in from my house to the street. There were numerous bushes and plants to navigate but they did a fantastic job. They also use a sod machine so that when they are finished they can put the grass back and you don't have big lines of dirt. My neighbor recently had the same work done by another contractor and they didn't do this so they had to patch the grass and it looked bad all summer. Their crew also worked very hard and was very polite. I highly recommend Rain One."

"Howard and his team were great and my kitchen looks better than I expected. Quality of work is excellent. I also appreciated how Howard kept me abreast of what was going to happen and when. It made it much easier to organize a busy family around the remodel. Howard's services are in demand and we had to wait a little bit to get on his schedule, but it was worth the wait. Would definitely recommend him to friends and use him again."
"As soon as Lowe's received our dishwasher at the local store, Bennett Home Services called to arrange installation. Stephanie was very flexible in adjusting to our availability. The installer was the most professional technician I've ever had. He adjusted the machine to exactly fit the space and conform with the cabinetry. The people at Bennett Home Services are FIVE STARS in every way. They are the best ever."

"I consulted Nature Floors to advise on what to do to repair my wood floors. A few areas had lightened from normal wear and tear and some areas started splintering. I was told by Nature Floors that my floors needed to be buffed and sealed twice. The work was done and within days I noticed that unlike before every scratch was showing. I contacted the company, and I was told that the actual wood was not being scratched but the seal and that this is what should be expected. They stated that although there were scratches in the seal the actual wood was protected. I shared that this outcome was not discussed when I was advised on how to repair the floors. I would have never agreed to the work had I been told your wood will be protected but it is going to look awful because it will show every scratch due to the seal. I was advised to go to a wood store to see if they could suggest a cleaner or something that would lessen the look of the scratches. A few weeks later as the scratches multiplied, I reached out to another wood company. They came out to inspect the work and immediately stated that my floors were not done properly. According to the expert, Nature Floors did not use proper inter-coat abrasion for the seal to bond properly to the floor. I was also told that they could not find evidence that the floors had been buffed or that a second seal was put on the floor. They also stated that due to the nature of my engineered wood floors they should not have opted to buff or seal it at all. They stated that my floors could not be repaired and would need replaced. And to add insult to injury I was told that I was overcharged. I immediately reached out to Nature Floors and shared what I had learned. I asked them to return my money to go towards the purchase and installation of new floors. I was told they needed to contact their lawyers and come and take pictures. I stated that I did not trust them to advise me on anything regarding my floors and I only wanted the money I spent returned. They refused to return my money and I am considering litigation. In addition, on a side note, but speaking to their lack of professionalism, when they arrived the first morning to do the job, they brought 2 children with them which I felt was unprofessional. I left the house and forgot something, so I quickly returned to find one of the children using my daughter’s bathroom. The poor child was so embarrassed, so I quickly left and immediately texted Val and asked him to please have anyone working in the house to use the guest bathroom in the basement. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are unprofessional, they do not stand by their work, I was overcharged, the service provided did not meet industry standards and they have refused to do the right thing and return my money!
