"How long and how much money is enough for a nice lawn? I paid MRW Lawn Service over $2000 and gave them almost a year to achieve satisfactory results – after 10 months. with too many weeds and several bare spots I gave up. I learned my lesson and cancelled. I regret I ever started their pricy and less than satisfactory lawn service. I had hired MRW Lawn Service to provide lawn care services which included soil testing, fertilization, weed control, grub control, seeding and Core/Slice combo renovation. I recognized that results take time, so I stuck with MRW for almost one-year hoping to see the results their representative had promised. Unfortunately, the results from all the treatments applied by MWR were unsatisfactory. The primary issues of concern were weeds and bare spots."

Recently, they performed a landscaping refurbishment and did an excellent job of shrub trimming, plant additions to the nature areas, mulching and clean-up. He was so helpful with our family home landscaping (where no one presently lives) to cleanup and weed and mulch and fill in what we thought was a medium sized sinkhole. He found a much larger issue and was able to completely and professionally fix the problem. He not only texted me but did FaceTime to show me the problems and gave me a complete list of steps and charges. He also took photos step by step to show exactly what was done. He also provided a detailed receipt which I needed since the house is on the market to be sold. I HIGHLY recommend this company. He is trustworthy and shows up when he says and fairly priced with huge value."

When reviewing my outside cameras to understand why agreed upon maintenance cost increased 100% from a few months earlier it became clear, two employees at all times were sitting in their truck while the other two were working..."

"Initial rep was great and informative. Felt comfortable with initial sale. Hardly had any contact from customer service except for the payments. There were several delays that we were not informed about unless we called to ask. Took 7 months before they showed up to begin project. Only 1 person was sent to build steps. Took a week. Hard worked, hardly took a break. Had to call again to see when they would come to pour patio. Never knew when they were coming, they just showed up. Hardly spoke with the homeowners. Inspection paperwork was just left on porch. Additional paperwork that is "required by the County" had to be completed by homeowner and taken to Court house to be notarized and filed and also provide a copy back to Long Fence. Time sensitive materials which added to homeowners to-do list. Gave this contract to LF on the surface of their history and appearance of a 'good local company' but should have stayed with original contactors in VA. Puddle of water forms when it rains"
