"I hired Chad and his crew to install ceiling drywall in a remodel project. He showed up on time, gave a reasonable quote, started the job on time and completed the job on time. He and his crew went above the job quote by fixing some wall damage and hand sanding all the walls where I had mudded but not yet sanded. They cleaned up and put all scrap in the dumpster. When they left, the rooms were ready for paint, which will begin tomorrow. I will hire them again for future projects. They were serious workers and did more for me than I paid for. Top rating from me."

FAQs for plaster repair projects in Hemlock, IN

Yes, crumbling plaster poses a safety hazard. Crumbling plaster overhead can drop heavy pieces that injure anyone below. The risk increases if the material contains older additives, such as asbestos or lead-based paint, which can become airborne when the surface is disturbed. Have a qualified pro test and repair deteriorating areas quickly to keep your family—and pets—safe.

Ceiling plaster repairs require a lighter touch than wall repairs. Plaster repair professionals apply thinner coats of plaster to ceilings to reduce weight and smooth the surface, which helps prevent future sagging. Wall repairs can handle extra texture and additional layers without risking structural strain. A plaster repair pro will have the expertise to determine the best technique for your problem area.
