"I hired Boone to re-do my backyard with new trees, plants and flowers. The work was done at the end of April. I never received a formal estimate only told a price and foolishly I went with it. Upon completion he told me that he or his crew would come out every 30-45 days to check the progress and clean things up as needed and this was included in the $25,000 I paid. Everything immediately began wilting within days. I reached out and he sent his irrigation team to review. I was charged another amount for their work and they adjusted the sprinklers and then set the system to only come on every other day and when I questioned this, as it didn't seem like enough water for newly planted trees and flowers in the Texas heat, I was told it was correct. For a week or so I left it, but then changed it back on my own to water once a day as things were not improving. Throughout this time I continued to send pictures of dying plants and would get responses from his office person and not him with instructions he was relaying. After I turned the water back on to every day some items perked up but others, including a tree, did not. I again sent pictures and was told things were coming back but they hadn't been getting enough water. Again people HE sent to review the irrigation changed the water to every other day and me on my own changed it back. Waited a few days and while some did perk up others have died, so I asked when he could come and look and assess the damage and was told they'd put me on the schedule in 2-3 weeks. After another week I reached back out with more pictures and was told if I purchased a warranty of $1,662 that the plants and the tree could be replaced. I was never told this warranty existed or would be needed as the items that have died seem to be from his lack of proper communication on care and handling. The only thing I was told once the work was done was watch this one plant and if it starts to wilt then it and the others need more water. I would not recommend his services, but if you do then absolutely get a contract, an itemized list of pricing before the work begins and care and instructions of each item in writing. I have asked repeatedly for an itemized receipt for which I am still waiting."
